Our first interview is with @Kloudz, one of the newer Helpers !
**How did you get to know Redemption?**
I started playing the server November of 2020 when it was previously named Dreamscape and stumbled across it on one of the TOP RSPS websites and decided to try out a 'custom' rsps.
**Have you enjoyed the server so far? + Why?**
Yes! Every moment of it. I've played a lot of different type of servers and never seen such a consistent and passionate group of players/staff. I've met so many friends in these past 8 months, such great people.
**Are there certain aspects that you'd like to see changed / adapted ? -> Which ones + why?**
This server has been out for a very long time and a lot of old items are still in. It can be difficult/overwhelming for a new player. I would like a change a lot of the out-dated items and possibly revamp it into new contents.
**Is there any rank that you'd like to have for a single day? (Can be anything), why this rank?**
Event Manager. What our current event managers do provide such a vital impact to the morale of the server and gives new players an opportunity to meet new people. I would love to do what they do for 1 whole day and would love to run random events as well such as "first rare drop from xx mob gets xx prize" or "hide-n-Seek".
**What do you do in your real life and how long have you been doing it?**
I am currently enlisted in the United States Air Force, I've been serving for 9 years.
**Is there a job that is your "dream job"? Which one and for which reasons.**
My dream job would be to Own/Work at Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation Center. Being able to help injured and ill animals is a passion of mine.
** Where do you see yourself in 5 years time?**
Currently serving in the Air Force and be in the same state of happiness that I am currently in.
**Has the "Covid" affected your life a whole lot? (shops-nightlife-...)**
The good ol' "Toilet Paper crisis of 2020"...It affected the way I approached things. I was essential to continuing my job as a Military police and practicing good health behaviors at the same time. I was tested positive after providing CPR to a positive covid individual, at the time was not known and to this day never regret it. After that, Was when it hit me that this pandemic is real and needed to prioritize my health. It took a while adjusting to the new life style, but made do and everything became the new 'normal'.

You have been with Redemption for a long time with certain breaks inbetween, what has made you come back every time?
Well, initially I joined Redemption (Dreamscape) in 2014 under the username Wolf Risker. I played on that for about a month until I quit.
I ended up rejoining in June of 2015, and forgot my password, so I used another name I commonly used, Squishy. That was just me wanted to play Runescape, but being a broke high school student, I didn't have money for the membership.
I ended up quitting several months later. I then joined back for the next serious time in 2017, which was just me checking out what changes had happened to Dreamscape. Ended up meeting some familiar faces and I enjoyed my time, ended up staying until I started getting invested into some other games.
I didn't end up joining again until Dreamscape turned to Redemption, and that was the main reason I wanted to check it out. I wanted to see what the ownership transfer was going to do for the server, and honestly, I've seen a ton of improvements. The game is much more content packed then it used to be, which makes it very enjoyable. Seeing a couple of old friends still around too has also made me stay. Being able to reconnect, and have someone to guide me through this new era was very inviting.
Are there any aspects ingame that you would like to see changed or improved? Which ones?
As my initial interest in the server was the forums, I would love to see them be revived. Right now they have little to no activity and I would love to see that changed. As to ingame content, I'd like to see some quality of life changes regarding a lot of the current content. Worthless drops, certain items added to grinder, soul room dump, etc.
Which moments will you never forget? (Can be positive or negative)
The first one would definitely have to be when I got the Forum Administrator position. I was ecstatic over receiving it. I actually have an old picture from our Teamspeak when the old Co-Owner Prod Dice pulled me in to promote me. (https://gyazo.com/b5018649dbfd9d512f175019e4a418e2) I couldn't really say any negative moments, have had a lot of fun and good memories associated with Redemption.
What was your biggest achievement ingame?
Well, I guess from my olden days I would say obtaining the Game Moderator rank. As of right now, obtaining Sponsor rank was pretty awesome, seeing as back in the day it was very rare and hard to get.
What do you currently do for a living and how long have you been doing it?
Currently I work as a server in a mexican restaurant. I've been working there for about 5 years now
Is there a certain dream car/bike that you'd like to have? Which ones and for which reason?I don't have to much interest in vehicles, nor do I know a lot about them. Currently I drive a 2013 F150. I'm looking into getting some mods done to it such as a lift kit, bigger tires, and an exhaust/intake added. I'd obviously love to get a brand new F150, but I don't see that happening soon.Is it possible for you to achieve this life goal ^ ? If not, howcome?I mean, probably not. My main goal in life is to live comfortably and own a place to live. So that's what I'm aiming for.How has "Covid" affected your life during these last 2 years in your city/country?The initial outbreak of Covid put me out of work for about 2, maybe 3 months. As soon as I went back to work we were incredibly busy. Seeing as I live in the United States, as a server I work off of a tip basis. Everyone was happy to be able and go out and drink again, so I was making some great money at the time. Thankfully though, no one extremely close to me came down with covid. So it didn't effect me very personally.

What does it feel like having such an important task laying on your shoulders as wiki manager?It's been a fun ride over the past almost 2 years. It's an incredible resource that we have for the community, and all of the editors do an incredible job, I don't know where I'd be without them.Was it hard in the beginning for you to overcome the possible stress / issues which headed your way? Why / Why not?No, i think my field of work and college allowed for it to not really have an effect on me. I've also been doing things behind the scenes for a while now so I was pretty accustomed to what to expect.Currently you are a helper, is there any rank that would be your end goal for ingame?Development team - I enjoy working on the beta a lot, and I think it would be nice to have that connection with the community of being someone they could directly go to, for things they would like to see implemented in the game and have direct feedback.Are there any improvements the wiki is in need of? Which and would it be hard to implement them?The wiki can always be improved, which is why we also rely on the community for feedback and suggestions. The main improvements that are currently being worked on have to do with the backend and their mostly QOL to make it easier for the team to edit, and make the pages themselves look better.What is your current employment and have you been doing it for a long time?I currently work in IT at a hospital, started about 2 months ago. It's been fun but im always looking for new opportunities to expand my career.What are the main tasks you have to deal with?Mostly troubleshooting and fixing user errors, every now and then we have to roll out updates/upgrades which is always fun cause it keeps you on your feet and you never know what can/will go wrong.Are you happy with your job or would you rather switch if you could? I have very much so enjoyed being a Community Admin for Redemption. I have had great times and amazing interactions with our Community and the players seem to enjoy having a higher ranked player around. I am very proud of my fellow team members for making their way up to the Community Admin rank as well! I love to see all the growth possible for everyone in our Community!
If there's one aspect of Redemption that could use a serious improvement, which one is it + for which reason?
Gambling. I see all too often players join and have a great time only to quit due to some bank chuck.
Is there any particular boss / Raid you absolutely Love / Hate? Which one is it + why?
I LOVE NIGHTMARE! Over 13k kill count and still going strong with the Community Nightmare Masses! Make sure you come join in the masses for free loot everyday!!

Currently unemployed, got sacked for gross misconduct. Had the job for 4 years.

Being too nice. People like to step all over you when you are too nice.

Bants, three lockdowns later. Pubs open first and not other places.

How and when did you found out about Dreamscape?
Found out on runelocus many many years ago. I quit for some reason but decided to play again properly in the last year during our time in lockdown.
What was your reasoning in becoming a platinum partner?
The benefits and i was close to it. Also I wanted to be one of the many few plats who dont gamble.
Are there still some flaws in the game that you can think of which need to be fixed?
Many but will need a few hours for type out.
If you could get your hands on one weapon / set from any other game or tvshow, which one would it be and which stats would they have?
Not really a fan of tv shows or other games.

@Bodhi !How did you start playing Dreamscape (How did you found out about it existence)?
Its really funny, back in 2014 October I was more a kind of guy who wanted play normal rsps and not custom versions. But I saw my younger brother playing Dreamscape and this caused curiosity. I went ahead and tried it out, close to 7 years later here we still are!
You've been part of Dreamscape for a while, what kept you motivated to stay on DS?
I always had issues to keep motivated whilst having end game gear. I decided to keep gambling it away and restart over again. But now im so far progressed with untradeables to push me nearly to end game. But main reason of motivation is the old friends are still around, obviously I am still having fun! Loads of goals yet to be achieved.
If you could choose one position for the day, what rank would that be? And why?
Itd be Platinum partner, no responsibility and do your own thing. But theres only one position I would like to return which is Forum Manager, and bring the forums back alive, active. This is something that has kept me thriving for better, for growth.
What was one of the biggest goals you've achieved?
Ooof, that is really a hard one. Dreamscape wise, not really goal intended however I was so proud of taking Feeds Forum manager position over as honouring his legacy and I have a good feeling how I have handled it around that time.
IRL: Ability to talk properly with my own voice. This is something that can be hard for bad hearing people. Instead of using sign language Ive learnt to keep talking and I am proud that I am capable of doing that.
If you could go back in time and redo a moment, which moment would it be and why?
Second grade, where I fell in love to a school crush and F'ed my school over for her. I am still wondering whether if I did take things differently during that time, how I would be as a person, where I would be at this very moment. However it has happened, I have met amazing friends through time and have had amazing experiences.
Which origin do you believe in of mankind? (God's creation/Darwin's evolution)
Darwins evolution, because I cannot see any actual proof of God or his creation. And Darwins evolution theory is still going on and you can clearly see that in others, which proves more in my opinion.

1)How did you find out about Dreamscape and what were your first thoughts on the server?
It would of been back in 2018 watching a box loot video from Didyscape. At first very confusing with all new weapons but after 1 week I was slowly getting the hang of it along with the help of players on discord.
2)You've been part of Dreamscape for a while, what kept you motivated to stay on DS?
Ofcourse the community/staffteam Is the main reason but having Platinum rank has also helped I'm sure.
3)If you had to say, what is your favorite piece of content that we have in Dreamscape?
I would have to say It's Yu-Gi-Oh raid forsure.
4)Do you have any goals you want to achieve?
Current goal I'm slowly working on is "Hammer Of the Gods" 140 Karma item.
5)If you could have any superpower for a day, what would it be and why?
Hypnosis so I could convince people to sell donations to me only
6)If you could change anything about Dreamscape to help improve gameplay what would it be?
A rework on the melee or perm boost for melee would be nice just to make it a viable option and make use of 100s of weapons/armours we currently don't use.

What are your thoughts about Dreamscape? What could be an interesting expansion?
In my opinion Dreamscape it one of the best custom private servers out there. I found myself in this game pretty good and i will keep my relationship good with it haha. As it pertains an interesting expansion, i think that there people working on that. DSGANG.
Do you think the game has any flaws that need to be updated?
I dont think so, but even if theres any, Dreamscape staff member will take care of it immediately.
You've been a Helper for quite some time now, what's the most interesting case you've had so far?
Yeah i've been a Helper for quite some time now, and there were so many cases that I had to deal with. Theres one there that there were two people in the middle of an explanation that one of them could get scammed and maybe banned from the game. I had to stick with both of them and talk to owners of the game and talk this thing through.
If you could be one rank for a day, which rank would it be and what would you do?
.If I could be a rank for one day I would lovely pick "Admin". The reason why is that when people would be ready to contribute on our society of the game I think that I would take care of them pretty well as much as our dreamscape staff members.
What do you do in life? (What's your current status)
I'm currently a student, studying computer programming as JAVA, CSS, HTML for almost 2 years now..
Would you prefer to do anything else instead? if so, what?
I would love to be Owner of my coding company.
What is the most interesting to you of your job/studies?
The most interesting thing while I study, is coding while playing Dreamscape.

Well my name is Jon. Im 17 and I study computer programming. I'm a huge fan of electric guitars, which I'm trying to learn it. Coding, playing, listening to old time songs, it feels good.
