Introducing Dreamscape's most fearsome boss!
The god of the underworld and beahmoth of PVM... HADES!
We answered your call for a new end game boss and have brought you something very special!
Both a difficult boss to fight and a rewarding boss to kill that drops what we expect will be some very high value and tradable loot!
 

 
Hades has 1,000,000 HP and is in a multi combat zone!
There are 3 Hades' for you to fight and the person who does the most damage will get the loot!

 


Hades' will always drop cash but has some of the best drops on the server as ultra rare drops!

Hades' Torva becomes the best in slot melee armour, a fully textured and tradable set that packs a massive punch!


Hades' Cleaver is the new best in slot melee weapon with a number of juicy effects including: 2 hits per attack (same as the BFG9000) and 9x9 AOE.
 



 
We have given the Chaos Elementals a bit of a revamp!
We have buffed their HP to 20,000 and created a new area for them!
 

 
You will now also be able to earn new rewards from the chaos elementals!

Icy Skeletons have had a revamp to try and bridge the gap and provide more PVM based content for mid-level players!
 
The Icy Skeletons now drop the Frost Bite Staff!
 
As well as some new armour pieces!

You can also now upgrade the Glacier Staff (tier 3)

1 in 8 chance to freeze NPC (so it cannot hit you)

We have upgraded everyone's favourite wicked wizard!
Magegray now has 1.5x HP making him a more fearsome foe!
However this has allowed us to add another Ultra rare drop to Magegray!
Introducing... the Magegray Totem!
 


 
This totem can be attached to a soulflare (u) to create the Soulflare (x)
 

 
This staff has the same huge stats as the soulflare (u) but with 0.6 x attack speeds (3 times faster then the soulflare (u) - allowing for crazy DPS)

 
 


 
We have responded to the call for a brand new home and have totally revamped our home including a juicy custom map!
 
The new home is larger to accommodate our growing player base and has a number of features that should make game play both more intuitive and a nicer experience!
 
To the north we have a large open area for players to meet, events to happen and various objects for day to day DS gameplay (including the altars to change your prayer, donator fountain, immortal stones altar, ironman instance portal and telescope)
 
To the west we have a games room with a number of objects for you to  use for our minigames, including the BG portal, scoreboards, arcade and more!
 
To the east are the shops which are split up into sections to reduce congregation and lag in these areas, we have skilling shops, general shops, pvm shops and points shops separated out so you can more easily find what you need!
 
To the south is a large bank area, which contains your collection chests and banks!

D Boasting a number of extremely innovative features DS social allows you to interact with your friends, players and staff alike in a totally new way!

Please note: at the time of release, we are launching DS Socials to Sponsor +, this will allow us to monitor DS social and ensure it is working safely and as intended.

You can now send messages to players when they are offline!
This will show up in their DS Social Inbox and can easily be read, replied to or deleted at any time! No longer will you need to wait for a player to come online to send them a message!

You will now be able to see who your best friends are!
Rated Gold, silver and bronze, your top 3 friends will show up on DS social with flair!

Simply click the spectate button to witness their gameplay live and as it happens!

 
- Join - 
You can now teleport directly to your friends!
Click the join button to send them a request, they can chose for you to join them or deny your request!

This means no more meeting at locations, teleporting or running to meet people, simply click join and you will be up close and personal with your buddies!
 
- Emoji's - 
You can now send your best friends emoji's

Want to cheer up a friend after they lose a big gamble, send them a smiley face!
Want to congratulate your friend on a mad drop? send them a dollar eye smiley!
Feel like getting back at a mad roast... send your best friends a poop emoji!

We have made some changes to AFK island to address some concerns from players about the way in which AFK island was effecting both gameplay and the economy.
 
You may now use AFK island for 1 hour per day as a base level.
However you can buy additional 1 hour slots of time at afk island from the Arcade Shop!
 

 
The extra hour pass costs 1000 arcade points and can be used for additional afk island time!
 

 

 

Introducing the set maker!
Talk to the set maker at home
Here you will be able to swap pieces of armour for their sets
e.g. Devious helm, body and legs = Devious Set
This should make buying and selling sets much more easy and allow for trading of sets to be done in a more orderly fashion!
 


 
! We have added a new mechanism that will allow users who have donated that week to get an automatic reward!

Admins will now have the ability to set a weekly prize and players who donate during that week will automatically get rewarded with that item!

1. How long have you been playing Dreamscape?
 
I joined about a year ago but took a 6 month break from the game to focus on work, I joined back since i finally got some free time and haven't stopped since.
 
2. When you came back what was the first thing that caught your attention when you first log in? Either on forums or in-game.
 
I don't use forums that often I mainly just stay in-game. The community in-game is the main reason I play, I often times have a conversation with someone i've never met before. It really makes my time enjoyable being able to talk to so many different people
 
3. Do you think Dreamscape improved alot while you were away for that 6 month break you took?
 
Yes, they added a lot of new items (BFG9000, Khione's Staff, Eternal Khione's Staff, Etc...) and they really improved the overall experience. The ::dicezone was moved to a more open area, they added new event features (Such as the piñatas), the donation deals were improved. Everything felt fresh, clean and new when I came back after 6 months. With the frequent updates that have been coming out I haven't been bored a single day and always look forward to playing when I get home from work.
 
4.You are part of our platinum partners, how's your experience after achieving this amazing rank in-game?
 
I have no complaints, they make us feel involved in the development of the server. Drax has posted a couple things in the Platinum group on Discord to keep us up to date with new updates coming out. Everyday I login i'm greeted by a staff member asking me how my day went and what i've been up to. They take really good care of us and I can't be more thankful.
 
 
5. What do you enjoy the most about being a Platinum Member?
 
It's a very unique position to be in, as of right now there are only 4 of us. We talk amongst each other often, mainly about the server itself. The staff members look out for us too but don't put us above anyone else, we're just like everyone else to them regardless of any donations we've made. We don't get special privileges, we do however get to know more about the inner workings of the server. I love being a platinum member, I have no regrets about the money I have contributed to the server because I know it helps everyone, not just me.
 
6. Is there anything else you would like to add? Any thoughts you would like to share with all our Dreamscape community?
 
We're all playing to enjoy our free time, just remember everyone else is here doing the same thing. Memories you make here will last with you your whole life. Make them good memories, I know when I'm older I'll think back to all the conversations I've had with complete strangers and the joy I got from them.
 
 

 
1) You've been playing a a decent bit of time, Do you mind telling us what keeps you motivated to play?
 
The community is what keeps me motivated to play. All of the staff are genuine and helpful. The players that I talk to on a regular basis are great people and I'm happy to have met them.
 
2) If you could have any rank for a day, what would it be and why?
If I could be any rank for a day it would be trusted dicer. I enjoy watching players gamble as it satisfies the urge to gamble myself. I would enjoy being able to help out when no other td's are online which seems to be very late/early morning EST (2AM-6AMish.)
 
3) If you could choose out of any item in-game to have, what would it be and why?
If I could choose any item to have in-game it would be a one of a kind custom cape. Get it textured with a space design to match my custom space bfgs coming in the next update.
 
4) If you had to say, what is your favorite piece of content that we have in Dreamscape?
My favorite piece of content in the game is the fashionscape. There are limitless possibilities with the amount of items in this server. One of my favorite things to do anytime I play runescape in general is just talking to the players around me and there is no better way to do it than in fashionscape style.
 
5) Are you missing anything as Platinum Partner? Anything you'd like to see being added?
Regarding Platinum Partner there are very few things missing at the moment. Most of what is missing has already been talked about with staff but some of the things I want to see added include having sponsor/exec rank added to platinum partner that way we are allowed to FP. I personally would also enjoy some sort of trust rank that would allow Platinum Partners to middleman when a TD is unavailable. The platinum monthly boxes have been great so far and I hope they stay as amazing as they have been.
 
Anything else you would like to say or any shout outs you would like to give?
Shout outs to the staff team for working as hard as they do, Bodhi for being a great friend and someone to talk to, Feeds for adopting me and taking on the role as my sugar daddy, and Player Own90 for making me Space BFGs that will be here soon

The staff, the customs. The community. It’s beyond crazy how amazing and strong this community is. When I say “dreamscape family” it’s truely a family. I feel like people generally care about us on here. The customs and uniques on here? They blow my mind, especially items like inferno cape, quantum boots how they have that graphic
I also appreciate how chuck tries and takes his time to do an event, and when he does do an event it’s not half-assed. From what I see, most of his events are 2-3 hours and he’s active in discord, talking to us, hanging out with us. It’s like yeah staff here is staff and we need to respect them, but at the same time they also particpate with us/talk shit in the discord and it’s all laughs. That’s what I really LOVE. How staff can be staff, be serious but also have fun and games at the end of the day.
 
2) If you could have any rank for a day, what would it be and why? 
That’s a tough one for me honestly. I was talking to “Cue” about this yesterday. An “Event staff” rank would be SO cool. Somebody who is a helper and answers people’s questions, but also hosts events. Hosts events such as BG, castle wars, maybe a little PKIng? Dice tournaments. I wanna see a push for events. I feel as if we had more events and maybe even more in game mini games, our member count can increase dramatically
I want to do something with the forums though too. I feel as if the forums are dead and I feel like if we can increase activity on the forums, that’ll also add to our player base.
 
3) If you could choose out of any item in-game to have, what would it be and why?
Most definitely my own custom that’s non tradable. I like to be unique, I like to stand out and have things other people can’t have/access. The way some of the customs look in this game just blow me away with how well they were designed. Same thing with armours in this game. Every time I see somebody with centurion, I want to drop my  entire check on Dreamscape. It’s all about that #FashionScape hahaha
 
4)  If you had to say, what is your favorite piece of content that we have in Dreamscape?
 The raids that involve teamwork and actual thought. Like avengers and Threatre if Blood. However, I would like to see the rewards buffed in avengers. Maybe an avengers key like you guys did for BG?
 
Anything else you would like to say or any shout outs you would like to give?
I haven’t suggested that. But yes of course. The staff and community here is amazing I can’t stress that enough. I can’t specifically shout out to one person, because here on Dreamscape I feel as if we are a team and us as a whole is Dreamscape. Everybody on here is awesome and without an awesome staff team, we couldn’t make it possible ! The constant updates, bug patches, events, discord, just everything about this server absolutely impresses me and I can’t thank the people that make that possible Can’t thank them enough **
Raptor has grinded skill Slayer like a maniac! 
He has completed 1000 slayer tasks?! That's so insane and a lot of dedication right there!
Are the gossips true?? Will Raptor go for 2000 slayer tasks completed?? Who knows!

I support the idea! Better rewards that goes for the overall character path or things to make money with will certainly bring more player to play the BG!

Battlegrounds shop rework
 
   
 
Right now the reward system for the mini game but there but here are some suggestions on what to add.
The items in the BG shop take a Long time to achieve. Which is good because if they didn't the prices of these items would go down in price BUT I think if you guys added some different items in there which would make BG a relatively good fun money maker it'd be a lot more active.
If you are wanting to keep the store related to the mini game this probably wouldn't work but adding some items like donation mystery boxes to the store or maybe even 100b tickets in there that you can spend your points on I think this would encourage new players to play.

I support this idea, currently the only time I ever see anyone doing bg is if someone is giving a prize to the winner. I think the mini game itself is great and appeals to all players since you don't need any gear, but is rarely played. The shop rework would be beneficial because I think it could help out new players by allowing them to save up points to buy boxes and gear and work their way up in the game.

This year's halloween event is a little bit different as you will be able to relive the final battle every 24 hours and collect Halloween Boxes!
 

 
These boxes contain limited edition custom items! Including textured items, cosmetics and Yeezy's (the only luck boosting boots) 

 
The boxes will be removed after the Halloween event is over, so don't miss out!

After the initial Rev's Launch we noticed a number of player suggested improvements and we have implemented a lot of them today!
 
 First off we have added more revs spawns, allowing more players to use the area at once!

 We have made Revs multi-combat! 
 
 We have improved the way that items are classified as PVP enabled or not! Reducing the ability for players to abuse the system to 1 hit others! If you notice an item that should not be PVP Enabled, please report it to a member of staff so we can improve the system further
 
 We have fixed the issue with Rev's Drops remaining on the ground after being picked up!
 
 We have made it so that Emblem drops will make server announcements!
 
We have reduced the Drop rate on the Mysterious emblems (keeping the relative rates the same, so the scale is more balanced).
 
We have added in the PVP Scroll!
This item when equipped will prevent you being able to be attacked while in the wilderness!
Likewise, you cannot attack other players while having it equipped!
This item is available from the Donation Store!

 
We've added the Home (+) teleport tablet that can be used to teleport home (even in the wilderness!) You can get this tablet as a drop from all rev's!

Coin Flip Today we introduce a new gambling method! The Coin Flip allows you to bet against other players with a 50/50 chance of a win! This comes with a brand new interface with a beautifully clean animated coin flip! To play Coin Flip, make sure you are in the Dice CC and at
dicezone and right click 'gamble' with the player of your choosing and select 'coin flip'     You will then have a trade screen where you can offer up your items vs your opponents offer.     If the coin lands on your side, you win... if not you lose.

A new shop that allows you to swap pieces of a set to avoid duplicates!
You can access the Transmutation shop at:: upgrade by talking to the librarian at ::upgrade
 

 
To use the Transmutation shop, you will need to have the piece you wish to swap as well as a small fee of souls!
 
Click on the piece of armour you have and pick the correlating piece you want.
They are listed in Helm, Body, Legs
So to swap your Elemental Helm into an Elemental Platebody click on the second icon along on the top row (Helm - Platebody)
 
 

Then click upgrade once or Upgrade all and cross your fingers!

As a result we have added in a number of safeguards to prevent players afk bossing.

Instead of a 1 in 10 chance of Special Attack it has a 1 in 5 chance.
The special attack does a 2.5 x max hit (in excess of 20k per hit)

The Eagle pet will now bank any birds nests you gain while woodcutting!

The main change we have made is reducing the respawn rates.

1) You've been a part of Dreamscape for a while now, what has motivated you to continue playing?
Definitely the community, having items is cool and all and being able to buy the new gear and be able to stay up to date with new stuff by having money is cool but the community is the main reason I stay so much because without the community I probably wouldn't be anywhere close to where I am down the road.
 
2) If you had to say, what is your favourite piece of content that we have in Dreamscape?
Even though I haven't done it much, definitely the arcade. I like the inferno style gameplay, I like how challenging it is and that you cant just do it from starting off, you have to put in the time to do it and the rewards are really amazing for new players
 
3) You're known as a mercher and you have a bad reputation to this server, how do you feel about that?
If you're selling it, I'm buying it.

4) If you could have ANY rank in the game for a day, what would it be and why? *Keep in mind this could be actual ranks or made up ranks such as the anime tester*
It would definitely be the developer because I'm really into java code and stuff like that so I mean, definitely developer.

5) You're Emperor Nicks unofficial drug Dealer, how do you feel now that he got exposed?
Nicks still my boy and he's cool and all but when it comes to Dreamscape related stuff, I try not to speak much to that about him, but if he needs that bud I've got it for him get what I mean?

1) When you first began dreamscape, did you ever think you would achieve the helper rank?
I didn't think I would achieve it but I did try my best to get it.
 
2) If you could have ANY rank for a day, what would it be and why? *This includes in game or made up ranks*
I think it would probably be either mod or admin because they get a lot of pms and I just like to help people in game.

3) How do you say your name? is it like PK-ant like an ant that can pk or is it like the P kant touch this
It's said like "PkANT" like get what I mean? Can't give my secret out that quickly get what I mean?

4) What is your favourite bit of content that Dreamscape has to offer?
Definitely raids because its not just that someone gets a reward but everyone gets rewarded who are in the top 3 which is beneficial to everyone participating.

5) You have some mad hours in game, can you tell us what energy drink you drink? Or how you get your caffeine?
I dont drink caffeine or anything, only concentrated heroin *Okay im joking*

1) You're in Discord quite often, what do you think of the community in there?
I mean, I figure the community is really good and everyone helps each other out when a new player joins we try to help them out as much as we can and also everyones really active when its peak time. Plus its really fun to be in especially in peak time especially with random people singing

2) If you could have any rank for a day, what would it be and why? 
It would probably be the bug tester so that I could just spawn in random stuff and pretend that i'm rich.
 
3) Which one would you do if you could, live in an anime world and be the main character or have an anime series come to our world and you be the main character.
I'll be the main character in the anime world, like you know that anime where that one guy died and he could take his phone with him and he became super overpowered. Yeah, I'll be in the anime world as the main character.
 
4)  If you had to say, what is your favourite piece of content that we have in Dreamscape?
Probably raids or the clue revamp because I like raids and everyone hs like a good chance on getting a good drop and getting bank and clues because new players can start off and get a clue immediately and make 100t in 10 minutes. And it helps new players.
 
5) If you could have ANY item in the game, what would it be and why? 
It would probably be the weeb icon like helper icon, but its just the text "Weeb" going around it

1) You've played for quite a while now, do you mind telling us what keeps you motivated to play?
The community is always nice and funny I missed it alot all the nice and funny people and I love Runescape but only private servers and Dreamscape is one game that really got me. And the help that the server staffs have to offer is just insane tbh the game has been changed a lot since like 1 year and I love the way it changed]
 
2) What is your favourite piece of content we have here in Dreamscape?
Bossing is really relaxing, chatting with friends and getting new ''friends'' to have fun with. The best part is coming up with new ideas like the Snapchat pet is just dope to be creative.
 
3) If you could have ANY rank for a day, what would it be and why? (This can include made up ranks)
I mean Snapchat manager would be nice but a help staff is already nice helping people as much as I can and I mean I really love helping people when I can, it just gives me a good feeling about what I have done and that people are thankful for it.
 
4) What do you think of the Dreamscape Snapchat that we have created?
The Dreamscape Snapchat group you made it actually made me more motivated to use Snapchat more often, and having the chance to talk to the other people that are in the group they are funny and nice to each other I mean some talk about a lot of drugs and stuff like that but I understand it, but I really enjoy the group.
 
5) Final question, do you have any questions for the readers?
I just wanna know what they think about the server and what is their favorite content in the game.

1) You've been a part of Dreamscape for a while now, what has motivated you to continue playing?
Well, there's no other rsps like this meaning we have great developers + staff period. It's just a great server and I like it.
 
2) If you had to say, what is your favorite piece of content that we have in Dreamscape?
To be honest, I like the arcade. Custom pokemon, police helicopters, no other server has that. Plus its fun competing if you get to the next wave. So it's competitive plus it also helps you make money of course.
 
3) You've made some pretty sick graphics designs so far, have you ever thought about becoming a GFX designer?
Let's see. I sure have, I'm practicing more and more just in case it ever comes my way. The quote I look back at is "You can never learn enough". "There's always more".
 
4) If you could have ANY rank for a day, what would it be? *This can include in-game ranks already or made up ranks such as for me "Legitimate anime tester"*
Hmm. I'd like be a Developer tbh. or something along that lines. That's a tough one. You almost got me. Well, let's see the reason I say that is I'd own my own rsps several times I've had to do my own coding lol. That's about as simple as it gets. I did most my own work except the web developing. It's pretty fun.

I don't have anything against cats, but I prefer dogs as they've been a part of my entire life. If you want to know what kind of breed I want it just needs to be huge and fluffy.

We've fixed some bugs with npc's spawning and re-spawning.
 

 
Due to the release of the very popular mini game the arcade we have had to make some changes to the re-spawning of npc's. This fix should not only improve gameplay of the mini games but also should make PVM smoother throughout DS.
