  1. Hi everyone, This suggestion will apply to some more than others but I think it's a good time to discuss potential item sinks as we move forward with Dreamscape. I am going to provide some ideas for some ways as a server we can get rid of some items while also benefiting from the item sink. Icy Glaive --> Icy Glaive (i) Currently the Icy Glaive has the option of having the chance to be able to customize it through upgrade. I think we can take this one step further by offering Icy Glaive (i). The new features of the Icy Glaive (i) Drop Rate % Double Drop % AOE (Much smaller than what the thumper provides) Prod Cape --> Sponsor Ticket (Yes I know we have that option with Extreme donator tickets) Extreme donator ticket chance 0.0% Due to high value risk Prod Cape upgrade would improve to a >1.0% chance The benefit gained from this would sink the inventory of prod capes in the economy and allow players to access ::ownercape and gain sponsor rank benefits. I don't think this would negatively impact the amount of extreme tickets being used in the upgrade chest as it's easier to risk 30M for a chance than 300M+ Bfg9000 --> Bfg9000 Off-Hand Currently there are way more main-hand BFG's in comparison to the BFG Off-hand Currently there is no way to do this Would sink some items on failed upgrades Make it a relatively high chance for success >50% Swapping items for custom scrolls (This will NOT be a cheaper way of getting custom scrolls and apply to few players) Implement a system that allows player to remove bulk items from the eco in replacement of custom scrolls. This will prevent players with high inventory of items from dumping items into the eco and driving the price down in pursuit of cash to buy donations. The rate of which custom scrolls are given to can be designed by upper server management and can fluctuate with current server inventories. Add a minimum threshold to being able to do this (Example: <10B) An example would be if a $100 donation is valued at 2B, you'd receive 50% value if you sacrifice items. (I understand that customs cost money to develop but I think we see a lot of server income come through non-custom donations to accommodate to these rare occurrences a player has the amount of money to be able to do this.) This thread/suggestion may grow in the coming ideas but here's a few ideas discussed this morning! Thanks for reading and please comment your feedback or input on new ideas!

  12. Hey fellas, Just wanted to stop in and say hello to everyone. I was part of the DSGang last year but have recently decided to come back! In my previous stint I was part of the TD team (If that even still exists )and spent a lot of time grinding in the exec zone. I'm excited to get back to the grind with all of the spare time I've just ran into. I have two accounts I Willy I and Willy Jr, currently waiting on my main account to get unlocked due to typing the wrong password in, but feel free to add me on both accounts. I look forward to checking out the new content and meeting all of the new people I didn’t get the privilege of meeting during my previous time!
  13. Finally an update for the noobies. Seems like that will help their integration into the game. Cool update- nice to see one that isn’t donation hype.
  14. 500 is pointless as well in my opinion due to the fact the kills per hour in the sponsor/exec zone is over 3,000 an hour. So limiting sponsor+ to 10 minutes of access isn’t really a solution either.
  15. I like the kill count limitations on new content, although 100 kc would be essentially pointless. It seems you tend to agree with all of my points but must have misunderstood what I was saying because you essentially repeated what I was trying to say in a different way. I feel like there needs to be ways to obtain end game gear without donation based methods (boxes, buying donations, donating, grab bags, etc.) I just want there to be legitimate ways of acquiring items, iron man mode included, that are useful in the end game. Raids are great and all but those drop rates are also ridiculously high. The items in the raids aren’t even BiS and they take insane KC to get one piece for the upgrade chest which will most likely fail. I just find it’s hard to maintain a steady returning player base in the current format. The amount the server is advertised and promoted on all of the RSPS websites and all of the amazing content the server has, you’d think we would have a larger player base and growing but it seems to be going the opposite direction. I agree with your response, I’m also rambling.
  16. As many have read and replied to the post suggesting an eco reset, we can almost all agree that is something that isn’t going to work. An eco reset isn’t the answer to help make dreamscape better. I, personally, do not have a suggestion to help but I’d like to share my opinion and hear yours about how we could try and advance dreamscape as I’ve found it has grown quite stale and I personally feel like our player base has been on a decline. In my opinion, dreamscape has basically peaked. As every update is either an item to kill things a little faster for non-sponsor, that are almost always donation based items costing $200+. Nothing in the game is difficult to do but more so difficult to acquire. Everything is click and wait or, for sponsors, spam clicking. Otherwise, new npc’s that come out that drop “juicy” items diminish in value faster than they took to code into the game because of being able to one-hit them for us sponsor+ players. Our capes limit the growth of the server because bumping up drop rates will only make things worse as sponsors can kill 1,000+ npc’s an hour. The game has reached a complete pay2win format except nobody is really winning anymore as nothing is really worth doing because most of the items worth having are in the donation store. Most of the end-game items are extremely unreasonable to acquire. I really enjoy the content/community that this server has, the items, bosses, raids, etc. but I feel like the gameplay itself is stale. I know my opinion is quite negative but that’s just how I feel. I’d like to hear how you guys feel about the current state of DS.
  17. Hey DSGang, I am creating this post to communicate with everyone I know here on DS all at once. I am going to be taking an extended break from playing DS and will be stepping away from the forums drastically. I appreciate you all and hope y’all keep grinding towards your in-game goals. Everything in my life outside of DS is going smoothly but I’ve grown a bit tired of the game and I just need to step away. I am hoping that when i do come back it is a bit of a fresh breath. The staff and development team are doing a great job communicating and accepting the suggestions of the player base and I believe that will keep DS going strong. Goodbye for now

  19. I like this idea. 250,000 points is too high for the cape in my opinion but I think it would be cool to have.
  20. I like your ring idea that gives 2x points per kill. That would be a fun addition to the super donor area.
  21. Remove pets from the flower poker room. They benefit nobody and cause more annoyance than anything.
  22. You need to provide more details in your suggestion for this to be taken seriously. What specific items do you want added? I do believe the voting rewards need to be revamped a bit more. They’ve added a little incenctive with the daily voting thing but the rewards still suck, to put it bluntly. I believe we should add a voting points system and those points can be used towards donation boxes (at a reasonable price) This provides the possibility of big rewards while not pumping out expensive items into the eco.
