The last few days have been a massive stress for all us players whose account got rolled back causing us to a lot of our items/points/levels. Hopefully mostly everyone has received their lost things back and things are getting back to the way they were
 
This is about the staff though, as stressful as we have found this ordeal, the staff have had it twice as hard and have done an amazing job helping the players! I can honestly say that @DRAX would have been stressed the most from this, firstly his server being offline beyond his control then having to switch to a new service and on top of that, having most of his player base with these issues. His reputation, fans and players were all at risk and he still managed to smash it out of the park with the help of the Admins, Moderators and Helpers. All of you have done an amazing job that couldn't of been easy.
 
I want to express a massive thank you for the help you have given us all and it's this dedication that will keep us playing for years ?

Our first custom skill!
What could be a better first custom skill on Dreamscape then Gambling!
Love it or hate it, Gambling has defined Dreamscape and we are known in the rsps community as one of the top gambling servers.
What better way to celebrate this by giving you extra rewards and juicy content for all your gambling needs!
 
You will notice upon logging in that the gambling skill has been added to the skills tab

 
It is important to note that this skill cannot be leveled by lamping (and we intend to keep it that way!
The only way to advance your gambling skill is by actively participating with the community and gambling!

Introducing Dreamscapes ELO System!
 
This system rewards players for regular play and gives you a chance to wreak havok as your bonus increases.
 
The ELO system increases every consecutive day that you play with a basic requirement of 100 npcs killed. After killing your 100 npcs you will be given a ELO adjuster.
 

 
Your ELO increases by 1 point each day and as your ELO increases and this translates to 1% stat boost on your gear.
 
In other words after you secure 100 ELO your gear will be twice as powerful!
 
This crazy boosting system must be maintained daily! Be careful not to fall behind or your ELO will reset to 0.
 
You can check your current ELO with the command ::ELO which will show your progress.
 
As well in the equipment tab which now shows your stats adjusted by your ELO Multiplier
 


 
As people earn ELO we will be adding in additional benefits in 4 teirs

The land is run by the Tyranical Xeboz who has plagued his people for many years and runs his world under the might of his private army... the Guardians of Am'orth.
 

 
 
In the first stage of a massive expansion, quest storyline and huge new content, you can now take on the fiendish guardians of Am'orth and claim their armour.
 
These bosses can be located in the Boss teleports and due to the magical scism that caused the rift between Dreamscape and Am'orth no magic can be used in the area.
 

 
You must fight the Guardians with range or melee and bring them down to carmour.laimtheir
This armour set is one of the most OP armour sets on Dreamscape and brings a whole new level of OP to melee, the underdeveloped hypotenuse of our combat triangle.

ownercapes or 1 hit items, except in the private Guardians area accessed through the executive panel (see below)

The combat triangle has been a tricky thing to balance on Dreamscape. We reccently buffed magic and range and felt that melee lacked a little on the combat triangle so we have revamped a number  of elements to increase melee's damage at end game levels (to match that of the new end game range and mage gear).
 
 
Firstly we introduced three new OP melee sets
Centurion torva - through donation or centurion box
Am'orth set - Dropped by guardians of am'orth
Lava/Pink/Lime Sets - only 1 can donate
 
A new best in slot melee weapon
The Sword of the Protectorate - See more info below
 
We have also made some melee weapons AOE making them great alternatives to magic in end game combat or the arcade.
 
Longclaw, Sword of the Protectorate and the Ultimate Dream Katana now attack with AOE in multi combat areas and combined with our new melee sets pack a huge Overpowered punch to rival that of range and mage gear!

You now have a 10% invisible drop rate booster while killing npc's on your slayer task!
This means you are more likely to get drops while on task!
 
Skipping tasks
You can now skip a task for a cash amount rather then just with slayer points!
This should prevent people getting stuck on a slayer task with no chance to skip it.
 
Slayer Keys
We have fixed a bug with slayer keys being able to be obtained after every kill and reworked the dropping system.
To confirm some details, you are required to upgrade your slayer keys (similar to the way in which emblems from revs are obtained.)
This starts with common key and once obtained you can upgrade the drop by continuing slaying without trading it in to go up the tiers.
 

 

 
We have added in a new levelling message that shows on the bottom left hand corner of your camera so you can better see when you level up.
This works on all skills and should enable you to better track your skill levelling.

After the positive feedback on our aura update, we took your feedback to heart and created a number of level 3 auras!
 
These auras cannot be bought and must be upgraded. You can also upgrade lvl 1 auras to lvl 2 aura's here too!  You can upgrade your auras by talking to the wizard at ::upgrade
 

 

 
 
 

 
 
Loyalty Streak 
We listened to you!

 
We've added a new feature to reward our most active players, the loyalty streak!
This allows players to receive rewards for everyday they login in a row
Simply type ::loyaltystreak in game to claim your rewards!
 

 
To gain your next reward, 24 hours must have passed and you must have voted at ::vote
 
 

 
 My Drops 
 
My drops is a brand new feature that allows you to see the rare/ultra rare drops you have received. 
This will show all announced drops you have received from today onwards.
 

 
To access my drops, simply type ::mydrops to see a personalised list of your drops! 
This will start from after the update onwards.
 
 

 
 Global PVM Events 
 
Today we introduce the NPC kills leaderboard!
This is a new way of tracking npc kills and competing with others!
You can access the npc kills leaderboard at home (the kill counts will start from today)

 
We also have a global npc kill counter at home too, simply talk to king Percival to see that!

 
One of the reasons we implementd this was so that we can run monthly PVM events!
Including top Pvm'er rewards as well as global npc milestones prizes, see the thread below for the first of these events!
 
 

 
 
  Advanced Arcade 
 
 
We listened to you!

 
We have added in a new arcade expansion!
Players who have completed the arcade will now have the opportunity to upgrade their inferno cape!

 
 
They will have the chance to win a magic, melee or range cape with awesome stats (great for raids). These capes also include coloured particles, making your PVM prowess even easier to show off!
 




 
To do so they must pay their inferno cape and will have to complete 5 new killer waves!
Who will be the first to obtain the new capes... only time will tell!
 

[WARNING] This content is extremely difficult, do not attempt to complete the new arcade expansion unless you are willing to lose your inferno cape.
 

 
 

 
Players can now receive advice on getting into youtubing by talking to the youtube advisor at home!

 
He will be able to answer any questions you have regarding: starting a channel, becoming an offiicial youtuber, what rewards you can earn as well as forwarding you to some useful resources!

Inside this section players can talk about what they are up to, share tips and tricks and interact with other executive cape members as well as staff.

- We have added a right click option to items in the Upgrade chest allowing you to upgrade items more quickly.
 
- We have made some major AoE fixes, this should improve weapons that have multi attacks (e.g. oblivion scythe, khi one staff, ak-47 Asimov) when used in multi combat zones.
 
- We have made some major instance improvements, this should make gameplay much smoother when you are in instanced gameplay (e.g. ironman instances, sponsor instances, the arcade etc)
 
- We have fixed a bug with the Golden scratch card displaying the wrong prize
 
- We have made some major projectile fixes, that should improve the smoothness of gameplay when in combat.

1.) How did you find out about Dreamscape and what were your first thoughts on the server??
I found Dreamscape on ads before, but then Stuart convinced me to join and i did, first i thought it was going to be a server just like any other but after a while i experienced the joy of the server content and the community, so it became the main server i'm roaming around.
 
2.) What do you like the most in DreamScape as a Extreme donator? Why?
Not anything specifically, just the yell and the ::dh zone, for the rest i don't really make use of the other options.
 
3.) You've been part of Dreamscape for a while, what kept you motivated to stay on DS?
The progress, its impressive content and the calm community where i feel comfortable enough to stay and ofcourse making some bank ingame.
 
4.) What do you think about the DS community??
It's the most non-toxic community i've stumbled on, which is good people show more appreciation for what you actually do.
It's almost like it has become a small world where everyone is doing his/her thing.
 
5.) What is your favorite moment on Dreamscape? Why??
It was when i won my first Emperor piece in the flower game on a giveaway from Bowwow i think haha.
 
6.) If you could choose one position for the day, what rank would that be? Why?
Probably Global administrator or moderator, cause its the perks i've been in myself, and  just to keep the server safe at anytime if anything would to happen 
helping to progress.

A giant otter pet or a giant joint pet where smoke comes out in the form of 420.

1.) How did you find out about Dreamscape and what were your first thoughts on the server??
I found out Dreamscape while looking through top RSPS on some ranking website (forgot what that was).
Didn't really know anything at all, I remember when I first joined, someone gave me a pikachu pet and told me to go to ::train to train my stats.
Since it was a custom server, of course, I was pretty confused for the first few days.
 
2.) What do you like the most in DreamScape as a Helper? Why?
Let's see, well, I like camping at mbox, helping new players there, that's usually it. Avengers is a good minigame too, that's probably my favorite minigame out of all the minigames on DS.
 
3.) You've been part of Dreamscape for a while, what kept you motivated to stay on DS?
Well, the newer community members generally motivate me to stay on Dreamscape. They usually strike up convos and are pretty nice, so that's the main reason I'm almost never bored on Dreamscape - chatting with people at mbox and occasionally at train.
 
4.) What do you think about the DS community??
Pretty neat, unlike other communities I've joined - we have staff/player events with prizes, the community is helpful and friendly to newer players, the forums are engaging as well. Overall, it'd have to be the best community I've joined in all of my time spent
 
5.) What is your favorite moment on Dreamscape? Why??
I don't think I really had a favorite moment - they were all great experiences to me, but I'd generally just have to say hanging out at mbox, greeting & helping new players, just general socializing.
 
6.) If you could choose one position for the day, what rank would that be? Why?
One position huh? Well, ranks don't really matter to me, but having a rank is nice since it makes you stand out like a beacon. I'd say I'm fine with helper status - it's not too much work, and it's not too little, but just enough.
 
7.) If you could add any item to dreamscape what would it be? Why?
Honestly, maybe just something green, like an armor set (I love the color green :P)
I saw someone with emperor's armor but with green tips (I think it was called galactic) that armor is pretty sweet, so maybe something around ther
 
8.) Do you have any goals you want to achieve??
Not particularly no, but in general, just chat with more players on a daily basis and help them out with the server.
 
9.) If you could have any superpower for a day, what would it be and why??
Probably just fly, honestly was watching the harry potter series and you know those death eaters with the trails when they fly without the broomstick

I've been on the Dreamscape scene since 2016 ever since I started I got glued to the server. To be be honest i've always been a bit of a crazy guy and one day I was chilling on discord and some of the lads said do something crazy so I thought what the heck, got all the boys to come on tinychat. I shouted my sister and told her to shave DS on my head, for the memes ofc. The most outrageous thing? probably stupidly head butting a wall live lol my stupidy has no boundaries  What I love most about DS GANG is the commununity it's lit, unparalleled to any other server and the staff are the most kind helpful i've seen on any server. I'd like to think my self as the most dedicated member on DS although there is many, that why I like to go the extra mile. My next plan of attack to show my dedication will be getting a tattoo of Dreamscape on my chest.
