What's up dreamers! Todays update goes back to basics! We introduce major changes to the beginner game for new players, new money makers for beginners and mid-game players and address a number of quality of life issues. As well as the usual handful of bug fixes and super juicy custom items! We found that most players skipped the tutorial and were then left with little idea on what to do next! As such we implemented a user interactive series of starter tasks where players would be tasked to do certain things and after completing them would be given rewards! 1. Open the bank - 100b 2. Kill a penguin at ::mbox - 100b 3 bury some penguin bones at the altar east of home - 100b 3. Buy a spade from DurkaDurka at the home shops - 100b 4. Checkout out our ::starterboss - 100B 5. Get a slayer task from the slayer task slave at home - 100b 6. Checkout our player owned shops at ::market - 100b 7. Get info on a item - 100b 8. Open the achievements interface - 100b 9. Checkout our ::wiki - 100b 10. Open the Tutorial Book - 100b 11. Cut down a tree at ::Wc - 100b 12. View the loyalty streak rewards by clicking the icon in the quest tab - 100b 13. View the daily task manager at home - 100b 14. Teleport to ::dicezone - 100b 15. Read our rules - Beginner Ring We have updated the starter packs for new players! Instead of the 500m coins you now get 10b checks You also receive: 3 x mystery boxes 20 Crystal keys + tutorial guide book This should give new players a little boost and allow them to integrate into the game quicker! As part of the starter pack we have written a little tutorial guidebook detailing information about dreamscape! This is given to all new players and can be referred to for those who are struggling to get to grips with the basics of our RSPS! We realised that alot of beginner bosses had a lot of worthless drops and had become dead content. So we decided to add some juicy new drops! We have implemented the Beginner Wealth Drop Table! This drop table is as follows: Common - 100b Uncommon - 1000b Rare -10,000b Ultra rare - 100,000b The following bosses have will award drops from the beginner wealth drop table: Barrelchest Dragonbone Forgotten warriors Sea troll queen Bork Tormented Demons Icy Skeletons Venenatis Scorpia Vet’ion Callisto Flame king/pernix Nex KBD Groudon We have made a brand new item for new players... the beginner ring! This ring is awarded to players upon completing the starter tasks and offers a unique perk for a short period of time! The beginner ring gives users a boost that allows all cash drops from the beginner wealth drop table to be tripled! When wearing the beginner ring the drops from this table are as follows: Common - 300b Uncommon - 3,000b Rare -30,000b Ultra rare - 300,000b The ring can only be used up until your account has gotten 24 hours (1 day) playtime. As most players are aware, here at Dreamscape we allow botting for skilling! However, we recently evaluated this and found that the bots that were available involved downloading poorly coded and incredibly buggy software from 3rd party sites that would inevitably steal your account details! Due to the abysmally coded botting software and the risks to the players security we decided to add in a new feature that allowed players the ability to earn money while AFK without the need for any badly made botting software that would put your account at risk! AFK Island is a fully automated money making system for new players! It allows players to earn money while AFK in a similar fashion to the way people believe botting skilling can! To visit AFK Island, simply type ::AFK Here you will be able to: Chop the AFK Tree Mine the AFK Rocks Fish the AFK Fishing Spot All of these 3 options output the same amounts of cash! We have also added a bank booth to ::mbox adding more quality of life for new players! We have made Mr Krabz less stingy and increased his drops by 25x He will now drop 1-50b per kill rather then 1-3b per kill One of the things we noticed about the early game in particular is the confusing nature of some of our content for new players! We decided to implement a number of systems to make things less confusing to new players! Firstly clicking on any skill icon in the levels tab will open the corresponding wiki guide! This directs new users to finding the info they need, including gear for combat stats! We have increased the cash you receive from levelling up! Instead of gaining 10m per lvl 99 you will now receive 10B You will now receive a reminder in the chatbox if you have completed an achievement but have not claimed the reward! We noticed that new players would often get confused by the interface asking you to set a pin in the tutorial! We have made some changes to make it more obvious they are setting a pin not entering a pin We also added information about the pin blacklist (e.g. 0000, 1234) Before After We have increased bank space for all players! You can now store up to a whopping 1000 items in each tab! This means each player can store a total of 9000 different items! We have updated the tutorial! Removing out of date info and including information that will be useful for new players to know! Including: ::market Arcade Slayer Voting Black Market Trader With the bulk of custom items on Dreamscape we realise that for new players the items themselves can be somewhat confusing! We decided to try and add more information about these items so that new players can easily gain more knowledge about the way that new items work! We worked to find a list of the first 100 items a new player comes into contact with and wrote up a little bit of information about these items! You can now learn more about items by right clicking the item and clicking 'Get Info'. This will open up an interface that gives you information about the item and can tell you a little bit more about what each item does! This should hopefully alleviate some of the initial confusion that new players have! Sponsors, Executives, Platinum Partners and the Number One Donator will now get the option to show off their donator status and up their clout-game! A rank now shows above the heads of the aforementioned ranks showing their donator status! It also displays how wealthy they are in game! No coins = less then 50q cash 1 coin = 50-100q cash 2 coins -= 100-200q cash 3 coins = 200-300q cash 4 coins = 300-400q cash 5 coins = 400-500q cash Red coins = 500q cash ++++ If you find the jealousy of others banks getting too much you can hide your shame by toggling the icons off for all players in the options tab. While we think this is an excellent way to show off your achievements, we also respect that some players may wish to keep their riches private so there is the option to not display your icon by typing ::hideicon. We have revamped the update interface to make it easier and cleaner to read as well as provide players the most information possible! Platinum Raids We halved the HP of the platinum raids! We also made it so that these raids count towards your slayer tasks! Platinum Sets We added 25% luck, 50% drop rate and 25% double drop rate to the platinum partner sets! We also added an invisible 30% range bonus to the Platinum Partner Range set! Platinum Vacation We have also released information regarding our Platinum Vacation! Really enjoyed reading your thoughts! I think the point missed was that the Arcade is a beginner money making method. Arcade is mid-game. The change was made due to the influx of SMB's entering the market (estimated at 500 super mystery boxes a day) Since we made the arcade shop, we have added daily events which give 2x tokens, donators now get additional tokens and also with AOE weapons the arcade has become very easy to farm for the elite. As a result we increased the rates. Every change we make to Dreamscape is thought through and never in a maniacal... we want people to stay poor! manner. In this case it was a balance of: Do you want a few expensive rewards? or Do you want lots of cheap rewards? We favoured the former over the latter. As prices and quantity in the ECO change, so too our shops must adapt. The price of 750 tokens was deemed to be undervalued for the time that it took to accrue such points. This update we added in a great new money maker for beginners... BG Keys! Which are better then SMB's! BG is one of the least P2W pieces of content we could make! Here is a little list of all the Beginner money making methods I could think of: Beginner Money Making Methods: Diglet Revs - still viable Events! (run daily and regularly giving out close to 100q in items) Battlegrounds (new rewards added with extremely good rewards!) Woodcutting (most profit per hour skill) Merching Charizard raid (truly a beginner money maker) Mr Krabz (early game money maker) Thieving Gambling e.g. 55 x 2 bot (risky) We aim to make more in the future and I'd love to read any suggestions you had in the appropriate forum section! I heed your frustration... but believe me as much as i'd love there to be some melodrama for DS, the end is not nigh... beginners can and will still make money. But not as a result of an outdated shop price.

What's up dreamers! Today we hit you with a brand new update! Featuring a tonne of new quality of life improvements and a massive overhaul of bugs! As some of you are aware this last month we have been committed to updating Dreamscape's favorite mini game and addressing its pitfalls as well as patching a number of bugs! This culminated in a new event hosted by the Bug-Gang aiming to find all the bugs in battlegrounds with over 30 players involved and over 100 bugs reported! Battlegrounds Chest One of the issues that players were most excited to change were the battlegrounds rewards which had become a little bit out of date! We decided to add a new reward system... The Battlegrounds Chest Key! The battlegrounds chest Key can be claimed from the battlegrounds reward shop for: 1 Survival Point and 20 Slaughter Points To use the Key, simply use the key on the battlegrounds reward chest to get a random reward! This chest outputs rewards in a similar fashion to the Event Box, giving donation boxes and other rewards! The battlegrounds chest has some insane rewards! Including: All Standard Donation Boxes Oblivion Scythe Minigun Golden Minigun Crystal Pieces Avery Ring All Historic Battlegrounds rewards (e.g. Kril'sarmour, Thor's hammer) We have also made a HUGE Number of bug fixes! We listened to you! Today we introduce Dreamscape Competitive Mode Season One! Compete against other players in this month long competitive season! Start by creating a new account and selecting 'Competitive Mode' Competitive accounts have similar restrictions to ironmen, with no ability to trade, gamble or used the player owned shops! You will be on your own as you try to get to the top of several leaderboards! The majority of these leaderboards can be found at ::train At the end of the month the person with the highest in each category wins! The same person can win in multiple categories! At the end of Competitive Season One all competitive mode accounts will be reset to ironmen accounts and you will be able to retain your progress and items! The Categories are as follows: Skill level This will draw from the players total level in game, the person with the highest at the end of the month will win.The leaderboard at train displays the top 10 players with competitive game mode who have the highest total levels. Bank Value This will be assessed by staff upon completion of the 1 month Gems Collected Players with competitive mode accounts will be able to collect 'Competitive Gems'.The leaderboard at ::train displays the top 10 competitive mode accounts with the most gems collected NPC kill counter This will be pulled directly off ::npckills. The leaderboard at ::Train should show the top 10 players with comp mode accounts with the most npc kills Overall winner This will be the person who staff believe have risen to the challenge of Competitive Mode the most and have made the biggest impact in the competitive season 1! At the end of the month the winners in each categories will receive 1000$ store credit and amazon gift cards! With a total prize pool exceeding $5,000 you really can't afford to miss out... By clicking on the green star in the quest tab you can now access a more user friendly achievements interface. This will tell you more about the achievement, give you a progress bar as well as let you claim your rewards directly through the interface. To claim your reward, simply click on it! We listened to you! Today we introduce the item lottery! This new lottery is open to all players and is entered using cash! Admins will set the item lottery with a new prize, number of entries and a cost per entry variable! Once all of the slots are taken, the lottery is randomly drawn and the winner receives the prize! To take part in the item lottery type ::openitemlottery This is a great way for players to transfer their cash into rare items and limited time goodies as well as a wayof getting a reward for a fraction of the price! There is a limit of 1 entry per account, however their are no rules on entering the item lottery on alt accounts. We have added a donator panel to the sidebar of the client! This will allow you to keep track of our top monthly donators with ease! We have also fixed the way that the Market button on the side of the client functions, displaying the results in numerical order! This will allow you to see the cheapest first and can be a good way of keeping track of prices. We have also added the new skills (summoning and gambling) to the xp tracker on the side of the client! This will allow you to track your exp a lot easier! We listened to you! After some player feedback we have changed the way in which the prizes for the code key chest are displayed! These are now displayed through the code key chest itself! You can access the rewards list by right clicking the code key chest and clicking the rewards! We are also adding some new items to the code key chest! See below for pictures of the new items! We have added a feature for our executives to disable spammy notifications while at the executive zone. Simply click the options tab, then click more options and finally select executive notifications to prevent yourself getting notifications about executive points while killing mobs at the executive zone. As promised we have added the first of many updates to the Emperor's ring! Healing effect! The emperors ring will now heal you during combat when equipped! This ring is extremely overpowered and will receive constant buffs and new features! Buy it now before the price increases! We have added the infrastructure for our platinum partnership!
