So i understand this server is really only based on combat and combat related minigames, but that sucks for anyone that don't only do combat.
I am primarily a skiller so of course that's what I mainly do when playing runescape and private servers. to make money and to pass the time. Yet it seems to be completely neglected on dreamscape. While the skills work and you can level them up, they don't do anything for you in terms of money making or fully utilizing the skills and what can be created with them. Every single thing i do in skilling seems half baked. idk how new the server is but it feels to be in it's infancy at least based on the skilling aspects being completely untouched beyond the original source code. I have spent maybe 5 hours skilling and have absolutly nothing to show for it other than some high levels and 5k in gold. wtf am i right.
my main problems that I have encountered so far include.
Thieving stalls giving 0-1 coin per action. this is insane to me. I see people buying and selling weapons for mills and bills and i'm sitting here with my dick in my hand and 5k in gold to warm me. I stopped at 55 thieving because i saw 0 benefits in continuing that skill and every other skill in game since it's all the same problem. maybe it's different at higher levels or in the skills i havn't tried yet. but i doubt it. in nearly every other server you either get items to sell to a theiving shop for decent cash or you get a constant flow of cash from thieving. what's the point in grinding if there's no point in grinding.
The rune crafting skill is handicapped since the highest lvl rune that can be crafted is the earth rune, it doesn't even go to fire. even if you find the talismans to another alter on a monster drop or wherever you get them you find that they don't teleport and crafting runes above lvl 9 just aren't part of the game.
My only non combat 99 is fletching, yet i have no way to sell any of the bows fletched. why is it that there is no general store in game? or at least set every single store to sell any item otherwise dropping is the only option, but I would hope to at least get a few gp back from an hour of grinding. yet again, me going back to whats the point in grinding if there is no point in grinding,
I guess that's all I have to talk about since those are the only skills i've tried in the small amount of time I have played. If the majority of people couldnt care less of half the available skills being completely useless then ignore me, sorry for wasting both of our time.
