The spade is a basic tool used in Old School RuneScape, primarily for digging. It is a common item that can be found in various locations throughout the game world.

Obtaining[edit | edit source]

Spades can be obtained from the following sources:

  • Purchased from farming shops or general stores.
  • Spawns in the following locations: Draynor Manor, Falador, Rimmington, Lumbridge, and the Wilderness.
  • Can be traded with other players or bought from the Grand Exchange.

Uses[edit | edit source]

Spades have several uses in Old School RuneScape, including:

  • Digging up clues during Treasure Trails clue scrolls.
  • Planting seeds and saplings in Farming patches.
  • Digging up weeds in Farming patches to clear them for planting.
  • Removing dead plants from Farming patches.
