Type ::edge ingame to get teleported to the city, and head south to see this chest and the portal.

When opening up the chest for the first time, it will be empty. In order to unlock all these gloves you have to enter the white portal and each time kill the one monster that spawns. This has to be repeated 5 times in order to unlock the gloves needed for most clue scrolls.
