Boosting damage is an important aspect of combat on Redemption. There are several different methods to boost the player's damage and this guide will give more insight in to that. Do note that these methods are not exhaustive and there are many methods to increase damage dealt. This guide is a brief overview on how to ensure damage is being optimally dealt.

ELO Explanation
To begin, players must kill any 150 NPCs. The counter goes from 150 to 0, and once hitting 0 ELO for the day is completed, and a 1% stat multiplier is earned. The kill count resets 24 hours after completion, unrelated to server time. For instance, if the kills are finished at noon on Monday, the count will reset at noon on Tuesday. The ELO kill count can only be completed once within each 24-hour cooldown period. Additionally, players have the option to purchase ELO boosters from the Redemption Store, providing a 5% (0.05) ELO increase upon consumption.

ELO significantly impacts a player's stats and damage, serving as a multiplier for all equipped gear. For illustration, if the Staff of Awakening is equipped with 100% ELO, the base Magic Attack bonus rises from 17,500 to 35,000, and the Mage Strength bonus increases from 42,114 to 84,228. It's crucial to note that this effect doesn't enhance the luck or drop rate bonus of the equipment. ELO operates with all equipable slots in the game.

Enchantments Title.png

The Enchantment system enables players to enhance their gear systematically. Items with stats can acquire "levels," providing a 5% bonus to their base stats per level, reaching a maximum of 250% at level 50. Enchantment impacts the base stats of the weapon or item, not the stats boosted by elo. To view stats with enchantments, refer to the Equipment Viewer.

(Only Supreme Enchantment Stones can enchant items beyond level 25. Any item with stats is eligible for enchantment.)

Enchantments are account-locked. Trading an enchanted item will reset it to level 0 for the buyer. If an enchanted item is sold, and a new one is purchased, the new item retains any previously achieved enchantment levels.

Common equipment upgrade progression:

Enchantment Stone Upgrade Range
Perfect Enchantment Stone Levels 1-11
Dream Enchantment Stone Levels 11-17
Dream Enchantment Stone (e) Levels 17-25
Supreme Enchantment Stone Levels 25-50
Eternal Enchantment Stone Levels 50-100

Enchanting items with both Enchantment Stones and High-Grade Enchantment Stones carries a 1% risk of destroying the item.

Using Perfect, Dream, Dream (e), and Supreme enchantment stones will not destroy items.

Perfect Dream and Eternal stones have a chance to fail but won’t destroy the item, while Dream (e) and Supreme stones will not fail or destroy items, Eternal enchantment stone have a 50% chance to Level 75 and a 25% chance to level 100

You can obtain higher tier gems by combining them at a percent chance to fail with some requiring Salvage Fragments as material.
(This is done in your inventory shown in the GIF below)

Gems require a certain Salvage level to upgrade:

To upgrade gems, players must meet the following Salvage level requirements:

Salvage Level Upgrade Range
1 T1-T2
20 T2-T3
30 T3-T4
40 T4-T5
50 T5-T6
60 T6-T7

80 T8-T9
90 T9-T10
100 T10-T11
110 T11-T12
120 T12-T13

The Gem Upgrade Chance % increases based on the player's Salvage level:

Salvage Level Gem Upgrade Chance %
50 1% increase
92 2% increase
99 5% increase
120 10% increase
150 15% increase
Combining Gems.gif

This is a step by step guide on how to add gems to gear sockets. This guide was made by Deathkill.

Step 1:

For starters, you will need Salvage Fragments.

Salvage Fragments.png

You can easily obtain Salvage Fragments by salvaging Chunks of Salvage at the salvaging table near the ::upgrade teleport location.

Salvage Table.png

You can salvage a total of 30 chunks of salvage per day, this equates to a total of 3,000 salvage fragments.

Salvage Interface.png

Step 2:

Now that you have the Salvage Fragments, you want to go to the NPC named Black Smith right next to the salvaging table.

Black Smith NPC.png

Choose the option that says "Socket", once you do this interface will appear:

Gem Socketing Interface.png

Next, choose the piece of gear from your inventory that you would like to add gems to. Once chosen, the interface should look like this:

Gem Socket Weapon.png

Step 3:

To unlock a gem socket on that piece of gear, click on the box with the lock symbol inside of it. You will be asked in the chat box if you are sure you want to proceed with permanently unlocking the slot for that item.

Slot #1 costs 150 Salvage Fragments.
Slot #2 costs 400 Salvage Fragments.
Slot #3 costs 1000 Salvage Fragments. In order to unlock slot #3, you must have an active Elite Membership or be Diamond rank.

Step 4:

This next step is easy. In order to add the gem of your choice to your gear in the interface, simply select the gem in your inventory and select the Yes please. option when prompted in the chat box.

Select The Gem.png
Selected Gem Prompt.png

After you have done this, your interface should look like this:

Gem In Gear Socket.png

Congratulations! You have added the gem to one of your three gear sockets. This can be done to an item from each of the 14 gear slots, totaling up to 42 gem sockets that you can add gems to.

The player will need a Gem Removal Tool from the Salvage Shop to remove gems from gear. There is a chance for the removal to break the gem.

The chance to save a gem upon removal increases based on the player's Salvage level:

Salvage Level Chance %
99 10% increase
120 15% increase
150 30% increase

Salvage Title.png

Salvage is primarily focused on upgrading Base Gems, salvaging resources, and enhancing gem-related activities.

Players will use Gems to level up the skill, mainly by combining them to create higher tiers.

The skill is tied in with Crafting, requiring the player to train Salvage to earn better rewards from Crafting. Please visit Crafting and Gems pages for more information.
