Fishing

Fishing ; is a skill which involves catching fish from selected spots around Runescape. Higher Fishing levels enable different mechanisms of Fishing, the ability to catch a larger selection of fish and increases a player's catch rate. Caught fish may be cooked through the Cooking skill to create food which may be used later to regain hitpoints during combat.
Training ;
To begin Fishing, go to your magic spell book and click on the Skill Teleport. Head over to where it says Fishing & Cooking. As you travel to this place, you arrive to many linking docks. To begin you will need a Small fishing net, a Harpoon, and or even a Lobster Pot. These can be purchased at the DS Fishing Store.
- Go to the end or side of the docks, and right click the type of fishing you will be doing.
- Shrimp (1-10) net 3,000 XP
- Herring (10-20) bait
- Trout (20-30) lure
- Cod (23-30) net 6,000 XP
- Salmon (30-40) lure
- Tuna (35-40) Harpoon 18,000 XP
- Lobster (40-50) Cage 18,000 XP
- Bass (46-50) net 6,000 XP
- Swordfish (50-76) Harpoon 18,000 XP
- Shark (76-99) Harpoon 90,000 XP
