The Minesweeper Box can be obtained from many different bosses and chests. It can be opened by choosing one of the 4 game types.
There are 4 game types, namely:
3 mines, 22 cash prizes
6 mines, 19 cash prizes
12 mines, 13 cash prizes
24 mines, 1 cash prize
You can cash out at any time as long as you don't hit the mine!
