The Thieving skill is now reworked to provide a new skilling experience with various rewards and prestiges to achieve!
This guide will provide a full breakdown to the Thieving Skill.

Gem Stall[edit | edit source]

- Level Requirement: 1
- XP: 750

  • 1-10 thieving level: 40% fail rate
  • 11-20 thieving level: 35% fail rate
  • 21-30 thieving level: 30% fail rate
  • 31-40 thieving level: 25% fail rate
  • 41-51 thieving level: 20% fail rate
  • 51+ thieving level: 15% fail rate

Failure Penalty: - Player hit for 10 HP and stunned for 4 game ticks - Loot: Always 1 Gold Coin

Silver Stall[edit | edit source]

- Level Requirement: 40
- XP: 2,500

  • 40-50 thieving level: 40% fail rate
  • 51-60 thieving level: 35% fail rate
  • 61-70 thieving level: 30% fail rate
  • 71-80 thieving level: 25% fail rate
  • 81-90 thieving level: 20% fail rate
  • 91+ thieving level: 15% fail rate

Failure Penalty: Player hit for 10 HP and stunned for a few game ticks

Picklock Boxes[edit | edit source]

- Level Requirement: 80
- XP: 25,000
- Item Requirement: Normal lockpick or Master Thief's Lockpick

  • 80-90 thieving level: 40% fail rate
  • 91-100 thieving level: 35% fail rate
  • 101-110 thieving level: 30% fail rate
  • 111-120 thieving level: 25% fail rate
  • 121-130 thieving level: 20% fail rate
  • 131+ thieving level: 15% fail rate

Failure Penalty: Normal lockpicks are destroyed; Master Thief's Lockpick is not destroyed, 10 HP damage Cooldown: Each box has a 30-second cooldown per player

- Requirement: Normal lockpick or Master Thief's Lockpick

Normal Lockpick[edit | edit source]

  • 110-115 thieving level: 50% fail rate
  • 115-120 thieving level: 45% fail rate
  • 121-125 thieving level: 40% fail rate
  • 126-130 thieving level: 35% fail rate
  • 131-135 thieving level: 30% fail rate
  • 136-140 thieving level: 25% fail rate
  • 141+ thieving level: 20% fail rate

Master Thief Lockpick[edit | edit source]

  • 110-115 thieving level: 40% fail rate
  • 115-120 thieving level: 35% fail rate
  • 121-125 thieving level: 30% fail rate
  • 126-130 thieving level: 25% fail rate
  • 131-135 thieving level: 20% fail rate
  • 136-140 thieving level: 15% fail rate

Failure Penalty: Normal lockpicks are destroyed; Master Thief's Lockpick is not destroyed, 10 HP damage Cooldown: Each safe has a 15-second cooldown per player


Lockpick.pngLockpicks can be found via Durka Durka's General after speaking with the General Manager which is located at ::shops.

Lockpicks can be utilized on the Picklock Boxes or Safecracking which are located at ::Thieving.


Master Thief's Lockpick.png the Master Thief's Lockpick can be obtained from the Skilling Point Shop for 5,000 points or as a drop from Safecracking.

It can be utilized at ::Thieving on Picklock Boxes or Safecracking with no chance of the item disappearing and a higher chance of successfully Safecracking.


Set.pngThe Master Camouflage Set is Skilling set that can currently be obtained in individual pieces as a drop fromSafecracking.

When worn as a full set, it provides the following bonuses:

  • 10% chance to receive double loot from thieving,
  • 10% chance to not fail thieving actions (stacks with prestige)
  • 50% reduced damage from failing
  • 10% chance to gain a skilling point when thieving.
