Redemption Community Rules

Summary

Welcome to the Redemption! Our rules ensure a respectful, fair, and fun environment for all players. Key points include maintaining respectful communication, prohibiting discrimination, limiting multi-logging to 2 accounts for specific activities, and banning cheat software, hacking, and scamming. Advertising, impersonation, and sharing personal information are prohibited, and giveaways require staff approval. Violations can result in penalties, including mutes, bans, or account wipes.

Rule 1: Respectful Communication

Players must communicate respectfully in all languages across all platforms, including in-game chats, Discord, and private messages.

• Offensive language, swearing, spamming, harassment, and explicit content are prohibited.
• Offensive account names are not allowed.
• Disrespect towards staff or the server is forbidden.
• Violations will result in appropriate punishments.

Rule 2: Discrimination

Discriminatory behavior based on race, religion, gender, age, or any other factor is strictly prohibited. Language or actions that make others feel uncomfortable or isolated are not allowed.

• This rule applies to all communication channels.
• Violations will result in appropriate consequences.

Rule 3: Multi-Logging

Players can have up to 2 accounts online from the same IP/Mac/UID simultaneously.

Permitted Activities

Players CAN:

• Use 2 accounts to level non-combat skills using basic concepts. This does not include the Money Tree.
• Use 2 accounts to kill anything locked behind voting.
• Use 2 accounts to farm NPCs or use skilling zones within rank-specific zones (i.e., Sponsor ::sz, Executive ::exe, Platinum ::plat, Diamond ::diamond).
• Use 2 accounts to fight the following:

 * Bomberman (::bomberman)
 * Miss Fortune (::mf)
 * Teemo (::teemo)
 * Uncle Pennybag (::db)
 * Scrooge McDuck (::db2)
 * Vote Boss (::VB)
 * Loot Goblin
 * Johnny Sins (::VB2)
 * World Boss

Restricted Activities

Players CANNOT:

• Use 2 accounts for the same activity. This includes ALL multi-combat bosses, minigames, and instanced encounters, including, but not limited to:

 * Zulrah
 * Lodsmok
 * Lachrym
 * Araxxor
 * Raksha
 * Marrow Reaper
 * Co-op Slayer
 * Raids
 * Arcades
 * Drop Parties
 * Squid Games
 * PvM Event
 * or ANY instances

Rule 4: Use of Cheat Clients or 3rd Party Software

Using software that provides an unfair advantage, such as DDoS tools, cheat clients, auto-typers, and autoclickers (except for slot machines), is strictly prohibited.

• Violations will result in immediate disciplinary action, including permanent bans for repeat offenses.

Rule 5: Hacking & Scamming

Hacking or deceiving other players, including gaining unauthorized access or tampering with accounts, is strictly prohibited.

• Use 2-step authentication for account security.
• Redemption is not liable for hacked accounts without 2-step authentication.

Rule 6: Bug Abuse

Exploiting bugs or glitches for an unfair advantage is prohibited. All bugs should be reported to staff immediately.

• Discussing bugs with anyone other than staff is not allowed.
• Bug report rewards may be offered based on severity.

Rule 7: Advertising

Advertising other servers or websites, including YouTube videos, is strictly prohibited.

• Event advertising should avoid CAPS and excessive emojis.
• Violations will result in immediate IP Mute or IP Ban.

Rule 8: Impersonation & Staff Ranks

Impersonating staff members or asking for staff ranks is prohibited.

• Staff members are chosen based on merit; apply on Discord if interested.
• Impersonation may result in an automatic ban.

Rule 9: Privacy Rights

Releasing personal information of other players without their permission is strictly prohibited.

Rule 10: Giveaways & Begging

Giveaways require staff consent, and begging for items, loans, or events is not allowed.

• Violations will result in mutes and bans for repeat offenses.

Rule 11: AFKing Bosses

AFKing during Player vs. Monster (PvM) activities is prohibited.

• Violations may result in penalties such as jails or bans.

Rule 12: Loans, Lending, & Trust Trades

Offering loans or lending items is not allowed. All items must be purchased from other players.

Rule 13: Help Chat Channel (Help CC)

Help CC is for in-game content questions only.

• No buying, selling, trading, or running giveaways in Help CC.
• All general rules apply in Help CC.

Rule 14: Voting

Using VPNs or redeeming/selling more than 6 vote codes every 12 hours is prohibited.

• Violations will result in permanent bans and account wipes.

Rule 15: Real World Trading

Real-world trading (RWT) is strictly prohibited. Buying, selling, or exchanging in-game items or currency for real-world money, goods, or services is not allowed.

Rule 16: Account Sharing

Account sharing is strictly prohibited.

• Sharing account credentials with others or using account services is not allowed.
• Staff assumes no responsibility for incidents from sharing passwords.

Gambling Rules

Players must accept and follow gambling rules without exception.

1. No spamming gamble requests.
2. Specify pots before gambling.
3. No planting/gambling for others.
4. Confirm pots and values prior to gambling.
5. No bets over Dice CC; use the offer screen.
6. No hosting manual gambling events.
7. No self-gambling.
8. Avoid unbalanced trades/gambles.
9. No future donation promises.
10. No giving back lost gambles.

Punishments

Punishments for rule violations are at the Staff Team's discretion and may include:

• Mutes, account bans, IP bans, MAC bans, UID bans, or account wipes.
• Platinum & Diamond Partners may lose platinum crate claims for repeated offenses.
