The following information was provided by Helper.pngUri304. It is a brief overview of how to get started with Slayer. For more help, ask any Helper.pngHelper in game.

Starting Out

New Players will receive a Starter Gem when their creating account. This gem needs to be kept in inventory and lasts for 14 days.

The Starter Gem will give a bunch of bonuses including, but not limited, to: extra slayer points/keys/overall damage.

To start out, it's recommended doing Easy slayer tasks to get some points, once comfortable, unlock "Hard" tasks for 25 points, these tasks will increase [in difficulty] with your level (up to level 99).

Task Streaks

One of the most important/overlooked parts of Slayer in Redemption is Task Streaks. It is quicker exp to skip for the tasks you'd like but, it's highly recommend taking the time to chase all unlocks first.

Boss Tasks

Boss tasks are a major part of Slayer here, they are accessible only in the level 120-150 range, after paying 2500 points.

Some bosses will be harder than others, players will get 3 base "block slots" and can pay points to unlock the 4th\5th slots

Notable blocks are: Nightmare (without mass or AOE, it can be rough), Enraged Hades, and Abyssal Sire, these blocks are optional - just an example of 3 common blocks. (Block whatever you struggle with personally).

Slayer Boosts and Bonuses

Ideally when you're grinding Slayer, you want to stack all of the bonuses you can. Take a look at Consumables for some boosts.

Crimson Chin Pet is a fairly inexpensive Slayer pet, it will give you 20% Slayer experience and +2\4\6 points per task extra for easy\hard\boss tasks respectively.
Cosmo and Wanda pets (Slayer shop) will provide a similar, but lesser point per task bonus.
Double Slayer Point/Exp potions will also help with this.
Slayer Master Set (helm\chest\legs) has a chance to double task points as well as provides damage and other helpful Slayer qualities such as being tribrid.
