The Ultimate Ironman Guide: This guide was put up mainly for the purpose of assisting with the basics of playing an Ironman, as their actions are limited. So here's a quick insight covering most subjects for Ironmen/women.

Ironman Rules[edit | edit source]

  • You can't trade other players. However, Admins can still trade you.
  • You can't use the POS system.
  • You must create or obtain gear yourself.
  • You may still donate via the store.
  • You can't gamble vs other players.
  • You can't drop items.
  • You can't pickup items dropped by pinatas at events.

Ironman Perks[edit | edit source]

  • Slower Experience rates - Custom Skills are excluded from this reduction.
  • 25% Drop Rate Bonus
  • 10% bonus Grinder Points when grinding items at the Item Grinder
  • 66% discount on buying things from the Karma Reward Shop - Note: This does not include buying the upgrade to the second tier shop.

Important Tips/Daily To-Do's[edit | edit source]

To fully maximise the potential of receiving loot and obtaining most items there are a few things you must absolutely do daily if possible!

  • Voting - This provides you 3 Vote Tickets, 2 Boxes and 1 step progression on the Vote Board each time you vote. You can vote up to 2 times a day (with 12 hours inbetween).
  • Working on your ELO; You need to kill 150 NPC's on a daily basis - An easy way to get this done would be by going to ;;mbox, heading up 1 zone by using the portal in the middle of the room and killing the penguins with an AOE weapon. (AOE= Area of Effect / Multiple targets at once).
  • Finishing Daily Tasks; You should target any that you are able to do each day.
  • Daily Reward System; This system provides a way to get loot for free. All you have to do, is be online for 1 hour and have voted that last day reset.
  • Events; There are daily events hosted by our lovely event managers on Discord. It's fully free and can potentially net you a huge upgrade if you're lucky.
  • Luck vs Droprate; Luck generally affects things that are deposited directly into your inventory such as keys, boxes and raids, Drop rate generally affects items that are picked up by a collectors necklace.
  • Clue Scrolls can be dropped as an Ironman by first reading them then dropping them. As you may only have 1 at a time.
  • Drop parties that are triggered by donations are able to be attended by Ironman accounts. It is highly recommended to attend every single one as it can provide very good upgrades.

Let the Games Begin![edit | edit source]

  • The Starter Set should have the stats needed for you to immediately use your teleports to try and get a Thanos Pet.

  • Once you've completed using your teleports, the first two weeks should be used for grinding Slayer. The Starter Gem provides an insane amount of player power as well as slayer point benefits. The first goal is to unlock Hard tasks and then start saving for Boss tasks.

Getting Gear[edit | edit source]

As an Ironman account, getting gear does not follow your typical upgrade paths. The Starter Set does provide a very good chunk of power right out the gates so there is not a huge rush to replace your gear immediately.

That being said, there are some upgrades you want to try and get as soon as you can as the benefits and stats will be very helpful. Unfortunately, because of the Ironman playstyle, a lot of this is up to RNG and getting lucky.

Armor upgrades: Attending Drop Parties at ::dp when they are triggered is by far the easiest way to obtain your initial gearing upgrades for each of the 3 combat styles:

Weapon upgrades are definitely more tricky to define a path. The Starter Staff, Starter Pistol, and Starter Sword are very strong in the early game and can carry you for quite a while. However, there are a few weapons that you want to keep an eye out for that will allow you to access harder content.

Boots and Gloves: It is highly recommended that once you obtain 92 Prayer that you farm out Dreamland to get Ultimate Tribrid Gloves and Ultimate Tribrid Boots. Both of these items provide incredible power in the early game and are decently easy to obtain. Doing Dreamland during the Dreamland rotator event that occurs randomly throughout the day will save you a lot of time in the long run.

Cape upgrade: Doing the Arcade and obtaining the capes from that activity is a good starting point. Your first major cape upgrade to target is the Slayer Master Cape. This can be obtained once you hit Prestige 3 in Slayer.

*If you are ever unsure if something you obtain is an upgrade, you can always check out the Magic Gear, Ranged Gear or Melee Gear pages.
