It is important to follow these guidelines and take account security seriously to protect your account from being hacked or compromised.

Password Safety

Your password is the first line of defense for your account. It is important to create a strong and unique password to protect your account from being hacked. Here are some guidelines to follow:

-Use a password that is at least 12 characters long and includes a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
-Avoid using personal information such as your name, birthdate, or phone number in your password.
-Do not reuse passwords across different websites or accounts.
-Change your password regularly, ideally every 3-6 months.
-Check if your password has been involved in any data breaches on haveibeenpwned.com. If your password has been compromised, change it immediately.

Have I Been Pwned?

Have I Been Pwned is a website that allows you to check if your email address and/or password has been involved in a data breach. If your email address or password has been compromised, it is recommended that you change your password immediately.

2 Factor Authentication

Two-factor authentication (2FA or 2step) adds an extra layer of security to your account. With 2FA enabled, you will need to enter a code from your mobile device in addition to your password to log in to your account. This makes it much harder for hackers to gain access to your account.

To set up 2FA, follow this guide.

If you lose access to your 2FA device, you will need to submit a support ticket on the Discord to have it removed.

4 Digit Account PIN

A 4-digit account PIN (also known as a bank PIN) adds an extra layer of protection to your account. You will need to enter your PIN to access your account settings, change your password, or trade items with other players. It is recommended that you use a unique and memorable PIN that you do not use for other accounts.

Recovering a Hacked Account

If your account has been hacked, you will need to submit a support ticket on Discord to recover it. Provide as much information as possible, such as the date and time you last logged in, any changes to your account settings or items, and any suspicious activity that you may have noticed. The support team will investigate your case and work to recover your account.
