This is my first time playing competitive mode and i am really enjoying it i've been putting in a lot of hours only to find numerous amounts of comp accounts botting skills.
It doesn't really make it a competition if we are competing with bots?
Its a huge disadvantage to people who play the game legitimately.
I think that anyone caught botting should b removed from the comp?

Today we hit you with a brand new update!
Featuring a tonne of new quality of life improvements and a massive overhaul of bugs!

 

 
As some of you are aware this last month we have been committed to updating Dreamscape's favorite mini game and addressing its pitfalls as well as patching a number of bugs! This culminated in a new event hosted by the Bug-Gang aiming to find all the bugs in battlegrounds with over 30 players involved and over 100 bugs reported!
 
Battlegrounds Chest
One of the issues that players were most excited to change were the battlegrounds rewards which had become a little bit out of date!
 

 
We decided to add a new reward system... The Battlegrounds Chest Key!
The battlegrounds chest Key can be claimed from the battlegrounds reward shop for:
1 Survival Point and 20 Slaughter Points
 

 
To use the Key, simply use the key on the battlegrounds reward chest to get a random reward!
This chest outputs rewards in a similar fashion to the Event Box, giving donation boxes and other rewards!
 

 
The battlegrounds chest has some insane rewards!
Including:
All Standard Donation Boxes
Oblivion Scythe
Minigun
Golden Minigun
Crystal Pieces
Avery Ring
All Historic Battlegrounds rewards (e.g. Kril'sarmour, Thor's hammer)

We have done away with our old cluttered quest tab in favour of a sleeker more slim lined quest tab that is jam-packed with functionality!

The new points interface is a follow on from the update to the quest tab which allows you to more easily see which points you have collected around dreamscape!

As part of our visual clean up we have gotten rid of the old and clunky ::mydrops in favour of a new highly functional interface that shows you which drops you have collected from bosses around Dreamscape!
 

 
With an awesome new ‘completion’ tracker that shows your progress on drops all over Dreamscape you now have a new goal to aim for!

We have added the option to pump up the way that Dreamscape looks and the graphical appearance around the map!

1.) How did you find out about Dreamscape and what were your first thoughts on the server??
I found dreamscape back in early 2015 or late 2014 looking at a rsps top 100 list and my first thought on the servers was that it was original, in a scenes that no other server was custom like dreamscape is.
 
2.) What do you like the most in DreamScape as a Sponsor & Wiki Editor/Manager? Why?
Sponsor rank gives me the opportunity to always have something to do in the game, from either 1 shooting  most bosses or being able to host players in ::dicezone for dice games.
 
3.) You've been part of Dreamscape for a while, what kept you motivated to stay on DS?
Well mainly cause no other server attracts me like dreamscape does. From constant content available every month. I did take a break tho from late 2017 all the way through June of 2018 due to a car accident i have that had me in physical therapy for a long time and not making me able to play as much as i wanted to. What keeps me motivated is having the opportunity to have so much game knowledge that lets me help others players in game or as a wiki editor currently.
 
4.) What do you think about the DS community??
At the moment it's probably peaking at its most high in my opinion. From having good forum moderators and in game moderators as your self and other staff members that keep that game so much fun and active for players. Like the kill count npc event and Chuck/Drax gambling tournaments and other fun thing that happen around here.
 
5.) What is your favorite moment on Dreamscape? Why??
Since i can't really remember one atm. it would have to be when i was promoted to a wiki editor
would have to be the highlight of my total time here besides donating for the executive cape.
 
6.) If you could choose one position for the day, what rank would that be? Why?
It would either have to be community manager or wiki manager. It's a hard choice,but it would have to be Community Manager, i love the community and being involved with it from doing special events for the community as i do at times. And just being head of the community is a major thing that matters to me a lot.
 
7.) If you could add any item to Dreamscape what would it be? Why?
Okay, when you go into "idle mode" there isn't any way for others players to know you went "AFK" i was thinking of adding a AFK chair that all players have automatically send to inventory that auto equips and that at the top of the player says "i'm currently afk" but doesn't spam chat it's just a invisible chat like if you where to click on a skill and it appears that "my slayer level is 99" to let others know you aren't playing/paying attention to the screen.
 
8.) Do you have any goals you want to achieve??
Well at first i had the goal to be first to complete all achievements but the recent update that came out that added more achievements made me take a major step back but i will have that icon!
 
9.) If you could have any superpower for a day, what would it be and why??
If it's only for a day telepathy to have the ability to read mines and altering/erasing some1 memories or making them do your desires.
 
10.) Anything else you would like to say or any shout outs you would like to give?

1.) How did you find out about Dreamscape and what were your first thoughts on the server??
I found out about the server through the voting lists and YouTube really, I’ve always been playing private servers and saw some videos of I think JordanRSPS or maybe Sohan I’m not 100% sure who it was.
My first thoughts of dreamscape was that it was so unique and different to all the other servers yes it was a little confusing at start getting used to everything but once I got the hang of it all it was much much better and more enjoyable to play.
 
2.) What do you like the most in DreamScape as a Trusted Dicer? Why?
I'd have to say just the fact of helping everyone out all the time (in the dicezone) in an area that I love to chill in and have a passion for, eventually I'd like to see how far I can go maybe even helper ? but I love at the moment just having a purpose in dreamscape and being wanted and needed within the community.
 
3.) You've been part of Dreamscape for a while, what kept you motivated to stay on DS?
I got to a point where I wanted to quit, I had nothing and was frustrated so I tried to apply for trusted dicer didn't think I would get it because of my very low bank size but I was extremely surprised when I got it and this has given me a lot more motivation to stay on and see my potential and see how far I really can go within dreamscape.
 
4.) What do you think about the DS community??
The DS community is quite active and friendly I think obviously all communities have the toxicity within them but that's always easy to get over which is good. I think we have a good stable community too also in helping out new players I think mostly everyone is willing to help anyone whether it's advice or give them a few T to get started and get on their way within the Dreamscape adventure.
 
5.) What is your favorite moment on Dreamscape? Why??
I think when Bowwow teleported me to him to give me my Trusted Dicer rank, I was my favourite because although I knew I was getting it that day I didn't think it was actually ever going to get a staff rank within dreamscape it was certainly surreal getting that and it gave me a purpose and drive to keep pushing and make not just the dicezone but dreamscape a better place for all.
 
6.) If you could choose one position for the day, what rank would that be? Why?
I think moderator, So i have full effect of being a proper staff but also being able to play like a normal person in dreamscape, would be a lot of fun.
 
7.) If you could add any item to dreamscape what would it be? Why?
Well if I were to be selfish it would be blue naval trunks and blue naval top but I can’t be selfish so maybe a chest in ::home that other players can donate too and each new player can use it once a day to get something out of it whether, some restrictions of course like 2 items max or 250T max that would be pretty cool not 100% sure if that counts for an item or not.
 
8.) Do you have any goals you want to achieve??
Ownercape is number one atm.

I would have to say magic is my go to, at least at the moment, I just love the Eternal Khione’s Staff.
 
Raids or Arcade?
It’s going to be tough to chose between raids and arcade, I’ve done countless hours of both and quite enjoyed what each brings to the table, but if I had to chose, I’d choose the Arcade. Its a more nuanced piece of content that requires some planning to get through.
 
Magegray or Chaos Elemental?
EZ Choice! Chaos Ele’s all the way.
 
TV or Movies?
I like TV shows better. More to binge watch!
 
Dreamscape or GTFO?
Dreamscape for life! I wouldn’t have it any other way.

But i also love doing arcade cause you can talk in the clan chat or yell ! but i'd have to say raids there's alot to do with raids.

To be honest I love pvm'ing all around but i'd have to say I have more kills at Magegray's then Chaos Elemental's.
But i must say just pvm'ing everything is the way to go an i also set goals on getting something so it's couldn't be anymore fun!
 
Movies or Tv show's?
Lets be honest i'll put on a show in the background an play dreamscape. For movie wise I normally put them on before i go to sleep so ya I normally play dreamscape ALOT besides that I'm either working or exploring somewhere or spending time with my family.
 
Dreamscape or GTFO?
My motto to everyone as you can ask people ingame or in discord ! * Dreamscape is the best , F**K the rest !

Leaving for good now. Didn't get completely cleaned or anything, just don't have motivation to play anymore. I feel like there is nothing to do beside gambling. Enjoyed playing these 6 months but now it's time to move on. Ill open up my decision on quitting below.
 
All "bosses" are just too easy, drink prayer once every min and grind,grind,grind without any good rewards. Im happy for new bosses coming almost every month, but they are all too easy. Just put soulsplit on and start watching youtube/netflix. After few days you might get one drop.
 
Latest update gave some light to skilling, but i still think it's useless in Dreamscape. You can make absolutely zero cash with skilling. For example there is no need for fishing or any other foods, because only thing you need in pvming is prayer ( Thieving is only useful skill and that's only for starters). All you get for achieving 99 is 10m (!?) cash. Make harder gamemodes and skilling somehow more rewarding.
 
Minigames. What minigames? We have no active minigames. Bg is fun, but it's active only if staff member does event there. 
 
Now for my favorite part, Gambling. Dreamscape is definitely number one gambling server. Im not sure if i like the new or old dicezone more. Developers had vision of flowers and dices being on different sides of the gambling area and that clearly failed. Cool idea, but we just don't have enough players for that. You can't divide 15-30 gamblers on two places, it makes dicezone graveyard.
Im sorry to say this, but it was sad moment when @Chuck became Gambling Manager. Since then gambling in this server has gone downhill. When @Lil Bowwow was Gambling manager, dicezone was crowded.
 
No hate towards current staff, but haven't seen too many events recently. I miss time when @Michigan & @Listy420 were on staffteam. They did events frequently and they were LIT.
 
@Chuck Don't know what's your situation irl, but im pretty disappointed how rarely you log ingame. I saw in gambling tournaments that you are a good guy and you should be involved more with this nice DS community. If you are busy as it looks, please make somebody else gambling manager to keep DS #1 Gambling server.
 
@DRAX Always fair guy. Working hard towards the community. Thanks for keeping gambling alive with tournaments.

A mysterious object has been sighted at ::ownercape... what could it be for?

 


1.) How did you find out about Dreamscape and what were your first thoughts on the server??
I found Dreamscape on ads before, but then Stuart convinced me to join and i did, first i thought it was going to be a server just like any other but after a while i experienced the joy of the server content and the community, so it became the main server i'm roaming around.
 
2.) What do you like the most in DreamScape as a Extreme donator? Why?
Not anything specifically, just the yell and the ::dh zone, for the rest i don't really make use of the other options.
 
3.) You've been part of Dreamscape for a while, what kept you motivated to stay on DS?
The progress, its impressive content and the calm community where i feel comfortable enough to stay and ofcourse making some bank ingame.
 
4.) What do you think about the DS community??
It's the most non-toxic community i've stumbled on, which is good people show more appreciation for what you actually do.
It's almost like it has become a small world where everyone is doing his/her thing.
 
5.) What is your favorite moment on Dreamscape? Why??
It was when i won my first Emperor piece in the flower game on a giveaway from Bowwow i think haha.
 
6.) If you could choose one position for the day, what rank would that be? Why?
Probably Global administrator or moderator, cause its the perks i've been in myself, and  just to keep the server safe at anytime if anything would to happen 
helping to progress.
 
7.) If you could add any item to dreamscape what would it be? Why?
A giant otter pet or a giant joint pet where smoke comes out in the form of 420.
 
8.) Do you have any goals you want to achieve??
To stay in the community and support till the end of days
and just grind, and design.

Flying and being immune to everything so immortality, so i can witness evolution.

I'd like to say, that i hope Dreamscape will keep existing for long, and we can all get along

I'd say ::Bank since its easier to bank stuff haven't really find out everything that super donor can do.

1.) How did you find out about Dreamscape and what were your first thoughts on the server??
I found out Dreamscape while looking through top RSPS on some ranking website (forgot what that was).
Didn't really know anything at all, I remember when I first joined, someone gave me a pikachu pet and told me to go to ::train to train my stats.
Since it was a custom server, of course, I was pretty confused for the first few days.
 
2.) What do you like the most in DreamScape as a Helper? Why?
Let's see, well, I like camping at mbox, helping new players there, that's usually it. Avengers is a good minigame too, that's probably my favorite minigame out of all the minigames on DS.
 
3.) You've been part of Dreamscape for a while, what kept you motivated to stay on DS?
Well, the newer community members generally motivate me to stay on Dreamscape. They usually strike up convos and are pretty nice, so that's the main reason I'm almost never bored on Dreamscape - chatting with people at mbox and occasionally at train.
 
4.) What do you think about the DS community??
Pretty neat, unlike other communities I've joined - we have staff/player events with prizes, the community is helpful and friendly to newer players, the forums are engaging as well. Overall, it'd have to be the best community I've joined in all of my time spent
 
5.) What is your favorite moment on Dreamscape? Why??
I don't think I really had a favorite moment - they were all great experiences to me, but I'd generally just have to say hanging out at mbox, greeting & helping new players, just general socializing.
 
6.) If you could choose one position for the day, what rank would that be? Why?
One position huh? Well, ranks don't really matter to me, but having a rank is nice since it makes you stand out like a beacon. I'd say I'm fine with helper status - it's not too much work, and it's not too little, but just enough.
 
7.) If you could add any item to dreamscape what would it be? Why?
Honestly, maybe just something green, like an armor set (I love the color green :P)
I saw someone with emperor's armor but with green tips (I think it was called galactic) that armor is pretty sweet, so maybe something around ther
 
8.) Do you have any goals you want to achieve??
Not particularly no, but in general, just chat with more players on a daily basis and help them out with the server.
 
9.) If you could have any superpower for a day, what would it be and why??
Probably just fly, honestly was watching the harry potter series and you know those death eaters with the trails when they fly without the broomstick

Perhaps you could start by telling us a bit about yourself:

I've been on the Dreamscape scene since 2016 ever since I started I got glued to the server. To be be honest i've always been a bit of a crazy guy and one day I was chilling on discord and some of the lads said do something crazy so I thought what the heck, got all the boys to come on tinychat. I shouted my sister and told her to shave DS on my head, for the memes ofc. The most outrageous thing? probably stupidly head butting a wall live lol my stupidy has no boundaries  What I love most about DS GANG is the commununity it's lit, unparalleled to any other server and the staff are the most kind helpful i've seen on any server. I'd like to think my self as the most dedicated member on DS although there is many, that why I like to go the extra mile. My next plan of attack to show my dedication will be getting a tattoo of Dreamscape on my chest.

Leaving for good now. Didn't get completely cleaned or anything, just don't have motivation to play anymore. I feel like there is nothing to do beside gambling. Enjoyed playing these 6 months but now it's time to move on. Ill open up my decision on quitting below.
 
All "bosses" are just too easy, drink prayer once every min and grind,grind,grind without any good rewards. Im happy for new bosses coming almost every month, but they are all too easy. Just put soulsplit on and start watching youtube/netflix. After few days you might get one drop.
 
Latest update gave some light to skilling, but i still think it's useless in Dreamscape. You can make absolutely zero cash with skilling. For example there is no need for fishing or any other foods, because only thing you need in pvming is prayer ( Thieving is only useful skill and that's only for starters). All you get for achieving 99 is 10m (!?) cash. Make harder gamemodes and skilling somehow more rewarding.
 
Minigames. What minigames? We have no active minigames. Bg is fun, but it's active only if staff member does event there. 
 
Now for my favorite part, Gambling. Dreamscape is definitely number one gambling server. Im not sure if i like the new or old dicezone more. Developers had vision of flowers and dices being on different sides of the gambling area and that clearly failed. Cool idea, but we just don't have enough players for that. You can't divide 15-30 gamblers on two places, it makes dicezone graveyard.
Im sorry to say this, but it was sad moment when @Chuck became Gambling Manager. Since then gambling in this server has gone downhill. When @Lil Bowwow was Gambling manager, dicezone was crowded.
 
No hate towards current staff, but haven't seen too many events recently. I miss time when @Michigan & @Listy420 were on staffteam. They did events frequently and they were LIT.
 
@Chuck Don't know what's your situation irl, but im pretty disappointed how rarely you log ingame. I saw in gambling tournaments that you are a good guy and you should be involved more with this nice DS community. If you are busy as it looks, please make somebody else gambling manager to keep DS #1 Gambling server.
