As you all may have seen, i was away from the server for about a week, i was given a week to think things over by our lovely server manager [member=adrianped], this week was all for two major decisions for me, one was staying and striving for my rank of in-game moderator, and the other was to take care of myself and handle my real life issues before i jump back into doing my all for the server.
I was given the time to think, for i let my life issues get the better of me and i ended up doing something stupid on teamspeak, i insulted and disrespected one of my lovely colleagues and friend, i didn't mean any harm by this of course as i love the guy to heck, but i was still devastated by my actions that day.
So to avoid me doing or saying anything that may affect the community or people around me, i must leave to better myself, i will be back, when the time comes bet on it i'll be back on the staff team with a new and improved Dainey, but until then i must say farewell.
I still remember my first days on this server, the second day i was playing [member=licky] convinced me to buy an ownercape, also within the first two days i had familiarized myself with the rules, and prices of practically all items, i then started helping in help cc, and over yell, this got the attention of then Admin [member=brezel], brezel was promoted to donation manager a week or so after i initially met him, after a few days of helping, brezel messaged me saying i was doing a great job and to keep it up, after that [member=zeven] himself who was staff manager at the time also messaged me telling me to get my post count up on forums!
After i had waited the 3 weeks and achieved the 75 post count i applied for helper, my application was up for around a week and a bit before [member=brezel] who was then promoted to staff manager, accepted my application. Fast forward a month or so and i was promoted to in-game moderator by [member=zeven].
This was a huge accomplishment for me.
As you may know by now, i was in-game moderator up until a week ago. (in-game)
Throughout my journey i have met an amazing amount of people, i am happy to say i have gotten the opportunity to meet and get to know.
First i wish to speak about my dear friend [member=cooni] who within the last month alone has ascended through the ranks from being a moderator with me, to admin then gambling manager and even media manager, i absolutely cherish my time spent with him, to our times we went and fun pked, to the video we made together, it was all great times in which i'll never forget, even being the news manager with [member=cooni] was a blast, spending up to 5 hours one time in a skype call with [member=cooni] and [member=phoenix] discussing news related topics, and after a bit adding [member=aliengod420] into the call, who at the time was a trusted Host. [member=cooni] is definitely one of my closest friends on the server, and please know mate i'll always be one skype message away, if you ever need me.
Next we have my beloved mate, [member=detoxify] i met you the first few days you were on the server, and i must say me and you clicked very fast, to becoming like brothers we shared many good times, gifting each other items in which we will never part with, or sell, to the undead chicken you cooked me and gifted to me all that time ago. We have definitely shared some great moments and ill be sure to hop on teamspeak to speak with you and catch up every now and then, until i come back for good! Remember don't look down.
Another very close friend of mine is [member=mirage] who was recently promoted to moderator, i'm very proud of you mate, to our adventures in castle wars, to our competitions in pvming drops, to our amazing conversations in teamspeak, i will never forget any of it, the two of us have been through so much and i will be sure to keep in-touch with you my friend, stay safe mate and keep climbing them ranks!
Now a very special person to me is [member=aliengod420] who recently received administrator, you are one insane dude, from the countless hours you have put into the server to me having to ban you to get you to sleep, all of these memories i'll cherish, to our adventures discovering new places when you were a trusted host, to our little conversations on teamspeak, every now and then you would slightly get carried away with your perms, but you knew when to stop, apart from in our kicking wars we'd occasionally have, when you had gotten to moderator with me.
Next is my lovely friend [member=racinedionx] who within the first few days of meeting her, we became close friends, from the times i stole her cake, to the times we'd hijack the music bot on teamspeak, to our lovely conversations in game and in general. I'll definitely miss the heck outta you racine, please know that i'm always one skype message away, and if you ever want me to come on teamspeak just ask <3 i love you racine and keep being you, bright, happy and hilarious!
Next we have someone who i admire so much, he was a helper when i was a helper, and his now the server manager, [member=adrianped], adrian may have received some under appreciation but i definitely have always looked up to him, to adrian loving punishing to all the things his done behind the scenes of dreamscape, his definitely put in an amazing amount of effort into the game, and some of the great updates in the last few months have all stemmed from the idea's and time spent on creating those idea's from adrian, at one time, some people asked me why he moved up to mod then admin so fast, i always said to them, it's because he contributes so much behind the scenes, and also in-game when his not doing those things for behind the scenes, you easily fit the role of server manager, and i couldn't be more proud of you then i am now.
Next is [member=qantas] who always had my back, if i was finding it difficult to make a decision he'd always help me out, or give me advice, which is so admirable, he did have a rough patch where many people were messing with him from his activity, but he has always been such a great guy, from wanting to do well in life as well as in game he has spread out his time, so he can work, achieve his dreams, and also fulfill his duties as an admin on dreamscape, he definitely deserves a lot more credit then he gets for the amount of time he puts in, even though his so busy.
Now we have both [member=chuck] and [member=zeven] the two of you are the best owner/co owner i have ever seen in a game, both of you are so hard working, and yet you still interact with the community when you can on teamspeak, easily the most dedicated people i have ever met, and the most kind as well, [member=chuck] has been with me through my hard ships and has offered a lending ear, his easily the most caring and awesome owner to a server to actually ever live, i think that this community has been blessed from the beginning just by having [member=chuck] and [member=zeven] within it.
There are so many other people i would wish to say words about, but as of right now i don't have the time to go through everyone, just know i love you all, and to the news team if you ever need me again just add me back in, i'll be happy to help.
